Every single European election goes like this>I'm the savior of the white race. I will deport all th"e immigrants and increase the fertility rate to three children for every woman in the country">Wins election in a landslide>"Diversity is our strength. I am proud to announce that the entire population of New Delhi will be moving here next week and we'll be encouraging abortions for all native women in the country"
>>543922169its not exactly like that, people just dont read between lines during campaigns
>I'm the savior of the white race. I will deport all th"e immigrants and increase the fertility rate to three children for every woman in the country"The politician saying this probably doesn't even think he's lying or doing anything wrong. He probably thinks that's just what campaigning is supposed to be like. When a perfume ad shows a gigachad or a gigastacy, they're not trying to say that the perfume will make you look like a model and change your life. They're not trying to be dishonest, and they'd probably say you misunderstood if you expected that. The problem here is, politicians saying those things are perfectly fine with the status quo, they think the status quo is great, and only intend to make minor changes in it, but talk big in order to motivate people for elections. They probably think that nobody should expect that to actually happen, and if they did, they misunderstood, similarly how you shouldn't expect perfume to make you look like the guy in the ad.That's what I have a major problem with. Because I actually want cities to be safe, as opposed to "safe if you avoid certain neighborhoods / safe if you watch your belongings". I actually want affordability to be like 20 years ago. To me, its real. And I hate that they not only lie, but also seem to think that people shouldn't expect them to do a proper job.The only solution in order to not be fooled like normies is to read between lines a bit. Look at what they actually promise and how they will say they do it.If they complain about "illegal" immigration, they're a fraud. If they make a big deal out of the latest 1% increase in taxes and say they will totally make things rights and revert it, they're a fraud. If they make vague promises that sound good, they're a fraud.
>>543925013Also:Pay attention to how they say they'll do things as well. Because I'm pretty sure there were hints that Trump is economically illiterate and thinks inflation is good and high home prices are good. It's not the same to promise to make cities safe by hanging any criminals than to promise to make cities safe by making another school so they can study instead. It's not the same to promise to make affordability better by lowering taxes and public spending than to promise to make more currency and give it to people.
>>543922169Its probably more like fake nazi larpers gaslight themselves by looking at memes and never know what the candidate actually says and then get pissed when the candidate never lives up to what they imagined. This happened with Trump for the most part.
>>543925153You can't blame them. At best you can't blame them for being gullible, but they never imagined anything. He said he'd make America great again. Everyone knows what that's supposed to mean. I'm not even an american and I know. America was great when affordability was better, the job market was better, cities were safer, and people had more children. He also said he'd fix healthcare, improve the job market, he criticizes mas immigration so presumably he's against it, and basically acted like he'd make things right for american workers.Turns out, it was like when perfume ads have a chad in them, but the perfume won't make you a chad. And I'm sure some of his voters are okay with that and only wanted minor changes in the status quo, mainly boomers. But to some people, it was real.
>>543922169>Pot calling the kettle blackRemember America First? what about no more wars? how about disclosing the epstein list?
It's more like:>vote for me, I will kick all the migrants in the country>gets into power>uhh so to kick them out I have to repeal international treaties, this will worsen my country reputation, our bonds could crash>and then I have to make decisions against courts of law packed with librul boomers>well shit, if we don't get some cheap workforce on temporary visas the whole house of cards collapses and we can't pay for healthcare or pensionsThey basically have a shocking date with reality.
>>543925425can you focus on the topic you midwit? just because america sucks too doesnt mean we dont suck
>>543925647>He is too retarded to realize its on topic as its the same tried and tested grift in the entire west
