Japanese immigration is a shitshow for any country, but especially so for Americans. Here is how fucked up the situation is right now:>EVEN CANADA has a working holiday visa for Japan, but Americans do not.>The Generic Work Visa requires an n2 and a bachelor's degree. Bachelor's degree in particular is a shitshow for Americans. My $30,000 student loan is evidence of this.>Takaichi LITERALLY JUST budged on the issue of teaching Japanese to immigrants, and said Japan will start doing it for Americans ALREADY IN JAPAN.>The n2 requirement should be able to be bypassed with work experience. Work Experience currently can only replace the Bachelor's Degree requirement>Thinking about getting the marriage visa online? Good luck, Japan is the world's biggest walled garden.These issues and more are plaguing Japan's immigration industry. How would you fix it? Here's my fix:>Give Americans the working visa>Allow the Associate's Degree to work for the generic work visa to fix the American bachelor's problem>Teach Japanese to aspiring foreigners who haven't yet entered Japan. Make it work like a scholarship. The MEXT is a good framework for this.>Require immigrants to prove the existence of JAPANESE PRIDE. This is usually the case for Citizenship, but it should be moved to a general work visa requirement to make sure the only people entering Japan will protect Japanese culture from aliens.>Require the immigrant to eventually get language proficiency through language training, or get kicked out of the country.>Maybe bring back LINE apps like LINE PLAY that allowed foreigners to interact with the JapaneseHow would you fix it?
