America's fanatical belief in 18 adulthood age theory, especially in states like California & Florida where the Age of C0nsent is 18, has to do with the insane 21 drinking age. If the US Drinking Age was 18 like in a normal country, states where 18 is the Age of C0nsent would have to deal with hordes of 17 year olds sneaking into bars & clubs & hooking up with older people thus resulting in frivolous statutory rapoe charges. In other words, California, Florida, etc. would have to lower the Age of C0nsent to 16 or 17 to combat that problem.Lowering the Drinking Age to 18 would lead to California/Florida lowering the Age of C0nsent!
