In a society where the general public are not allowed to bear arms, the only defence remaining is your body and your ability to fight. The strong have an advantage over the weak. Women in general are less capable of defending themselves that way. Women are more at risk of being attacked by men, who will generally be stronger and more capable of fighting. Women become defenceless prey to the predators. In an ideal world blah blah blah its not an ideal world, human predators exist and its sheer luck if you don't become a target. Thats why guns are sometimes referred to as "equalizers" - the weak and otherwise defenceless can still pull a trigger. I propose a law where ONLY women can carry guns, so that men would be afraid to even try to take advantage.
