Make the first step to get away from goyslop and buy a mixer/breadmaker. Fresh homemade bread should be a staple in every household.
>>
I don't need a mixer nor a breadmaker to make good bread.
>>
>>543942563
Id rather let a machine knead for 10 minutes while I shitpost on here.
>>
>>543942702
I do the no knead method and leave it to cold ferment for a day or two, same day bread is good but letting it ferment for longer is better. I'm not against mixers, I probably should buy one.
>>

You should go buy a nice kitchen aid mixer. They are incredibly versatile.

I like Bimbo bread. I hope they're not leftists.

>>543942402
The wheat flour is full of round up. every brand. unless you are growing your own wheat and harvesting it. gonna have the goy slop in it already. maybe not quite as bad since you might use better ingredients. the wheat flour is a problem
>>
>>543943061
I watched some videos about their plastic gear and how it breaks, are there ones with metal gears? They are kind of expensive no?
>>
>>543942823
This is the correct way. I have a mixer and never use it. You just need a good starter and time. Folding your dough a couple times replaces the mixer.
>>
>>543942987
too much water in your dough silly billy
>>
>>543943304
It's the only way I've made it, texture is really good and it's almost a no hands method expect the folding and shaping.

>>543943318
it's not mine but that's not too much water, I'd say that's a 70-75% hydration dough
>>
>>543943277
Those gears are plastic for a reason. Much better to strip that instead of burning up the motor. They are expensive. Last new set I saw was like 400 dollars.
>>
>>543942563
wtf I make bread by hand but it doesn't look like that

is it because I'm brown?
>>
>>543943405
it's wayyyy too sticky, shouldn't be sticking to the sides so hard it doesn't dislodge from the force of the mixer or smearing into a disc underneath it (assuming it is just a standard loaf of white bread)
>>
>>543942823
>no knead bread
Wtf I bought a bread maker for nothing. Mormon 1 year food supply is a good idea.
>>
>>543942402

>>543943524
high hydration doughs are sticky in the beginning, this might be enriched dough with eggs and butter since it's a yellowish colour, those doughs are always stickier.

>>543943584
No knead takes some time though to autolyse, if you want bread in an hour a bread maker is a good purchase.

The recipe I use requires a starter that sits over night. After it ferments then in the morning I mix together the rest of the ingredients, and let it rest for 1-2 hours with folding every 30 minutes or so, whatever it was. Then finally bake for 20 minutes. Makes a damn good artisan bread.

>Just get a stand mixer and a Dutch oven. It's not hard, but it is time consuming.
Mine looks very similar to these, probably even the same recipe. I wouldn't say it's all that time consuming, maybe like 5 min of actually doing stuff once you're good at it, but there's a good amount of waiting.
Here's my recipe...
>3 cups bread flour
>2 tsp salt
>2 1/4 tsp yeast
>12 oz warm water(sometimes it uses a little less)
Put the dry ingredients in a mixing bowl and mix it all up, then pour 6 or 8 oz of water in and mix it together until a dough starts to form. Pour more water until all the flour or dry spots are wet. Let it rise 2 to 3 hours. Preheat your oven to 450 with the empty dutch oven for 30 min(you can get away with a little less). Put a few tbsps of flour on surface and dump the dough. Sprinkle some flour on top then fold 5 or 6 times. Put in dutch oven and cook for 30 min, then take the top of the dutch oven off and give it 12 more minutes. Now you have delicious bread with minimal effort.

30 min pre heat the oven with the dutch oven inside on 230C/446°F. Bake on same temp for 28 mins lid on and then 15-20 mins lid off.

Kitchen gadgets are for the inept and shitskins.
Bread is easy, if you can't kneed a few cups of flower and water for 10 mins you are a failure.
The only special equipment needed is an oven and a pan. If you want sliced bread get the correct size loaf pan, otherwise and flat sheet or oven safe skillet will work.
Finally baking is simply unless you are a low IQ shitskin that can't focus on a task for more than a few mins.

Kitchen Aid mixers are made to be repaired and will last a lifetime. This is the one I own. never had an issue with it in 20 years.

They're a bit pricey, but it will pay for itself in the long run.
