I worked in education for a while and currently as a substitute teacher, because the pay is retarded for how easy it usually is, but the field as a whole is too blackpilling for me. Many schools are now pushing kids through and you will be pressured and possibly disciplined for failing students, even if its from them never showing up. Ive worked in supportive capacities and counsellors/vice principals will collude to pass the kid through your class anyway even if you do fail them. You can fail them and they afterwards will just edit it and give them the credit. You have no real options of dealing with shitter kids in your class that ruin it for others with their attitude and disruptions, are blackpilled by most kids not caring at all about the content no matter how passionate you are about it, many of the kids are now straight retarded and cant write or do anything without chatgpt, etc. You seethe at the kids but then pity them too because half your coworkers are weirdo politically obsessed freaks that just want to indoctrinate and lead the kids down political paths, and the other half are insanely bitter and blackpilled boomers with severe OCD and narcissism who get off on punishing and 1uping the students...its a mess. Smaller class sizes, kicking shitter kids and families who dont care out, much more specialized education pathways starting at around age 10 where kids interests, personalities and aptitudes start showing, are all needed.
