Female congressional candidate runnning for Arizona’s 8th Congressional District, told Maricopa County sheriff’s deputies she was attacked and sexually assaulted in August while fixing campaign signs.According to a sheriff’s report, Greene-Placentia said the incident happened between 2 and 3 a.m. Aug. 14. She said she was walking back to her vehicle after putting up and fixing political signs when two men struck her in the back of the head, causing her to lose consciousness.She told deputies she woke up to one of the men sexually assaulting her while she was being held down. She said she fought back by kicking her feet.Greene-Placentia recalled one of the men saying "not f****** worth it" during the assault. She also told deputies one of the men said "democratic b****" at some point during the incident, according to the MCSO report.The report states Greene-Placentia could not provide descriptions of the men or recall their facial features. She remembered one wearing black boots and said she believed the men may have been white.
