Seems like Russia is slowly going to make people flee Kiev. A prelude to taking the city. Could be years from now.
It's not that the war is going particularly well for Russia I don't think, but still, they're slowly, slowly winning it. The steamroller doesn't stop. It's costly for everyone. Russia is losing men, spending billions. So is Ukraine. Ukraine is less than half of the population it was before the war. They're not going to recover. It's spending billions and billions that it doesn't have. Whatever is left after the war, they've already sold off. And we keep sending them billions. It's a giant financial blackhole. All of they money we've thrown in there is going to be a loss. We're NEVER getting the minerals of the Donbas. Or whatever else we thought we'd get. All we can do now is inflict a cost upon Russia, sacrificing Ukraine in the process. Not a very productive war. But that's how it is.
