Competence is more important than IQ. IQ only matters at the extremes, too low and you become incompetent too high and you could be extra competent but only if you act which makes IQ kinda gay the drawbacks of it being low show up by themselves while the advantages of it being high still require work put in

If someone can't use their brain to quit their shit job and escape poverty, then they aren't truly intelligent.
