Some would say they are facultatively solitary, but I disagree. They always want the attention of their master and if a cat doesn't get it, the cat becomes aggressive and hostile to other cats. They're also capable of forming bonds with other animals and humans, which contradicts a thesis that cats are solitary. They are social animals.

End of story.
