Environmental protection and climate change need a bigger platform. The amount of people that will vote for a billionaire who will put plastic in their families food, and pollute their homeland just because they agree with you on a hot-button issue is staggering.
With how much everyone says they care about their country, why do said countries nature and people alway come after big companies making larger profits?

How do you actually stop the rape of nature and actually change policy? Monkeywrenching can only go so far, especially when facing large companies with mountains of wealth to fight the average person with?
All the politicians are bought and paid for....
>>
The left decided to become the party of trannies so we won't be getting any green policy ever again

Stopping animals going extinct is literally communism. The weak should be allowed to die so they cannot pass their genes. If your species is going extinct its because it cannot compete in the free market for survival and therefore doesn't deserve to live.

actual quality pol thread

hopefully the "special" people won't show up

I really think if a Right wing party materialized that had a green focus and didn't bend a knee to large monopolies people would be all over it, I'm just wondering what's stopping people.
>>543993436
Genuinely can't tell if this is sarcasm or not. While I sort of agree that protecting endangered species shouldn't be super high up on the priority list, as it's a big moneysink with not a lot of return.
I was moreso talking about environmental protection in a broader sense. Which has massive return. It's like keeping a garden healthy.
Like not dumping toxic shit in the ground and for short-term gain. and not bulldozing plots of nature for giant concrete warehouses and 7-11's.

way too many people
humans are literally destroying planet earth
nothing can survive that pop curve going str8 up
the future will be grim
only the lucky and healthy will survive

I really wish there was something the average person could do besides just voting and committing civil disobedience aimed at polluters.

The issue is truly the money,
Taking care of the environment is profitable, but not in the short term, and a majority of people, especially businessesmen and manufacturers only care about short-term financial gain instead of long term prosperity.
How do we trick greedy people into doing the right thing? How do you make stewardship and reverence for nature and the planet the easiest path?

Maybe crank up the tax breaks for anything environmental.

I'm tired of pretending the georgia guidestones weren't based.
convincing the guidestones were built by the elite instead of just eccentric rich people was clearly some kind of psyop ot just people being stupid.
It's clear the current elite aren't
following what's written on them.

well the government could create incentives
or even force people

but to me it feels kinda immoral to force people by the government

but I mean I saw my country this summer
I walked the dry riverbanks of the Rhine
the fields were brown
and the trees were already red and brown
losing leaves because they lacked water
>>
>>543995363
I guess that's the catch. How do you convince people (or more importantly companies) to look out for the environment without government interference or blatant violence?
>>
>>543995677
I guess boycotting sorta works because it cuts money off. But a boycott needs to happen on a national scale to make
a dent in most of these companies/plutocrats, and that just is not reasonable.

Big companies lobbying politicians.
>How do we stop it?
By killing politicians of course.

If you want "Enivonment Protection", go live in Africa and stay out of the Northern Hemisphere. Also, you better stop using your phone/PC considering those contain the ebil plastic you hypocrites seem to seethe about.

>>543994581
You envirotards have done enough damage to our living standards. Go live in the deepest regions Africa if you want to experience the end of "the rape of nature" (as you put it) and the dismally low living standards that come with it.

>it's all or nothing goy!
>you want to protect the environment???
>You must want to go be an anprim in the jungle then!
How retarded are you.
Let me put environmentalism in a language you can understand:
>John has a tree that provides him all different kinds of fruit, he eats the fruit off the tree to survive and then sells the excess to make himself money.
>eventually John decides he isn't happy with the money he's making so he decides to cut down the tree and sell the wood as coasters to make extra money
>John sees no problem with this in the moment since he has a reserve of fruit
>Eventually the fruit reserve runs out and John doesn't have the tree to grow anymore fruit so he can't make any more money and starves.
You want to keep taking the fruits from the garden that is the earth? then take care of it nigger.
Refusing to take care of the earth/nature is like refusing to vacuum your room or not changing the oil on your car, eventually it's going to make your life miserable or come back to bite you in the the ass.

>>543993074
climate change is not up to us, we've been coming out of an ice age for 12,000 years. protecting the environment is only as hard as finding people who can take the continued existence of nature as payment for defense.
>>
>>543993074

Oh well ya blew it on trannies and niggers
>>
If you don't advocate for killing every single jew and shitskin/slanteye you don't care about the environment and instead just want higher taxes on white people.
>>

>Implying I'm one of them.
Not this bullshit. leave boomer.
>>544001576
I know the planet gradually cycles. And humans will adapt, But humans are making the speed at which things are changing faster than what has been natural. We are talking about minimizing unnecessary death and suffering. Protecting your families and genetic lineage from mental degradation to chemicals and pollutants. The climate shift will happen, but the more gradual it is, the longer humans have to adapt and innovate to reduce the amount of suffering that will happen .
>>
>>544001806
Black or White logical fallacy.

Even ignoring that you don't realize that just killing any random black or yellow is not going to do anything. It's less of a race war, and more of a cultural war.
If you really want to change things, murder is not the way, influence culture, it lasts through generations.
>>
>>543993841
Who do you think is actually conserving nature? Do you think hunters and fishermen or any of the people farming and cultivating are leftist?
>>
>>544002680
People on both the left and the right. Environmentalism is bipartisan.
It's just with typical Red vs Blue, it's usually people on left that actually put environmental laws and regulations into place, not to say people on the right don't also do that as well, it's just less common.
