When I was around 5 my mom randomly converted to Judaism and dragged us all along with her.We went to synagogues, I learned Hebrew, and my sister even had a bat mitzvah. At school I got all sorts of Hitler jokes, told I was going to hell, put on blast by the fucking teacher in front of the whole class that I'd be "twiddling my thumbs" on Christmas. Then at the synagogue I was ostracized by the other kids for being an obvious outsider who really didn't care about whatever desert voodoo shit they were talking about. Even my dad was their literal Shabbos goy.The cherry on top is that my mom "found Jesus" and converted BACK to Christianity when she got sober.
