>>544042542He deliberately avoided the college / university racket.>what do you mean, he dropped out? didn't make the grade?Avoided the system those institutions use. It's not about choosing not to learn.Learning is good, it's wise. The wisdom lies in learning from a variety of sources, not just the approved sources that are unchallengeable. Most people go to college or uni to get the ink on paper that tells businessmen "I is smarts n stuff". Yes I hold disdain for the degree itself, the reason being that knowing information doesn't make you logical, rational, adaptable, inventive or creative. These are skills that you don't learn. You learn to retain information. There was a time where that was useful and necessary, but thanks to computers and the internet we can access any fact from anywhere in any field at any time.Schools teach you "no don't use that."Wisdom is "yes you should do that and cross-reference to verify accuracy."It means that to a business, someone who didn't waste 6 years in uni memorising things can be deployed in the same job and be more efficient, if he has the right toolset.Unigrads often don't have the right toolset, which is why they get trained for 2 years by their employer. But hey, at least they have ink on paper smarts n stuff, right? And $350k debt? And a diabolical need to pay that before interest makes it $700k?Damn, rush jobs. Hate those. They're always cutting corners and shifting blame.Oh well, not my problem.

>>544043968Ignore it and act in a reasonable manner when confronted.Regulations and laws are for keeping stupid people within the guard rails of their own stupidity, if you dont need them then you dont need to worry about such questions. Unfortunately, most people think they are smarter than they are and heard such advice and only consider how best to take advantage of such laws, rather than avoid having to fall within them. There is a difference.
