Wages have largely remained stagnant while inflation has skyrocketed, employment opportunities are being wiped out by AI, outsourcing, and immigration and politicians could not even care less. The USA has the most laws in the world and even constitutional rights are being eroded, while we're also the largest police state and surveillance state in the world. Both major political sides are hell-bent on trashing freedom of speech.So if we don't have freedom, opportunity, and prosperity, what do we have? What we have is a government that is captured by special interest groups, $40 trillion in government debt, the militarization of police, mass surveillance, an obesity epidemic, toxic and processed food, mental health epidemic, the most toxic women in the world, inner cities that have been utterly gutted by outsourcing, the widespread genital mutilation of male infants, a MIC that sustains itself and is fueled by the bloodshed caused abroad by a government that drives conflicts and coups across the globe. The people are fake, shallow, and materialistic assholes. It's a soulless economic zone for the purpose of farming GDP and making line go up. Leaders instigate the most retarded, subversive, destructive of culture wars to keep people distracted. By all metrics, things are dismal.I want to profusely apologize to my European friends.
