>>544063811Quite literally yes. The DU composite armor is removed for export. Not that it would have protected it from top down drone attacks. Until area denial directed energy systems become more effective and able to be mounted on tanks fielding them in masse in a traditional role in Ukraine doesn't make a lot of sense, but that doesn't mean you just throw your tanks away. Whatever the Ukrainians still have is most likely being held in reserve. The main difference between tanks like the Abrams and the T-72 in Ukraine is that the Abrams crew most likely survived the attack that knocked it out. Where as Soviet designed tanks tend to kill the crew in the process of attempting to launch the turret into low orbit.
