Our Constitution is way more refined to modern understanding of human rights, progressive values, and alignment with the HDI.

The U.S Constitution was made by a bunch of classical Liberals (almost Libertarian) in the late 1700s. These dudes drew upon even earlier dudes like Rousseau and Locke. They genuinely believed freedom and rights were a NEGATIVE thing, and said so openly.

Meanwhile, the Canadian Charter doesn't talk about the right to non-interference by government, we understand that government can be used to bolster human rights and freedom. We don't have the right to bare arms, or the right to a "small" Federal government, we have the right to free healthcare, the right to public services, the right to non-discrimination, the right to be treated with dignity.

I love how you are reddit the country

My favorite part of the Canadian constitution is the part where it says the government can just go nuh uh whenever they feel like it.

If we didn't we'd end up in a situation like the U.S where they can't even pass Federal Hate Speech laws and they use Civil Rights Laws to push white supremacy.

Why would your faggot fecaloid ass want those

We need to protect people from offensive and hateful speech

>We don't have the right to bare arms
Wrong idea.
You either have that right or you don't. Your nationality can't change that, and neither can any constitution, charter, nor any other type of law.

Why?
>>
>progressive values
What progressive values? Everything we're doing is thought-police shit and making our own people have less value than the immigrants coming in, including all the ones scamming/defrauding our systems that the people in charge have no incentive to fix since it's more future voters.

All of the rights come from the great sun god, which is part of the whole God. You couldnt count them all even with all your datacenters. A dude with a pen can only pretend to suspend or reneg the rights given by the great sun god. The final destination of group justice is every indivudual is their own minority, all equal under the law is a higher civilization state. The constitution drew heavily on the iroquois confederacy, it is indigineous law before english law. You may have a right to healthcare, but healthcare providers cant start their own independent practice. The red ensign was created as a peacetime flag for maritime commerce, your posting false dialectic banker war propaganda, canadian resilience is forged against the arctic cold

That chart just proves Canada is better in every single way.

America only has euthanasia in a few States.

In fact America is even worse than most European places.

My favorite example of liberal mindcultism is that europeans explain that homeschooling is illegal in their country because children have the "right to an education." Try looking up homeschooling in europe in reddit and be prepared for some of the most furious and contemptuous denunciations of homeschooling by europeans.

This is why I'm on team Russia. Even though I love Ukraine as a nation, and would ideally like them to be independent, I don't want Europe to have a buffer.

I HATE Europe and them to get crushed by Russia.

>They genuinely believed freedom and rights were a NEGATIVE thing, and said so openly.
Misconception. Here's what you noticed, contempt for "rights" is not what you think it is, or are portraying it to be.
1 - most or all governments, *give* rights to their subjects. Those are the so-called "rights" their people have. All other things are at the whim of the government.
2 - the American way. Every citizen has *all* possible rights, and with good reasons for exceptions. The government has NO RIGHTS, except those explicitly given to it.
3 - this illustrates the "problem" with (so called) rights.
