I see many people claiming that this was a mistake not to have been more aggressive from the beginning but I think the truth is that they weren't even ready for that. And maybe it doesn't even matter if it's going to be a war of attrition that takes years anyway.People tried to infer how the war is going based on all sort of things on the terrain that might matter if this was going to be a short war. Not if this was going to be a war of endurance.
