What will postcolonial thinkers do? Will they in effect become racist again, opening the doors to older racist views against blacks and arabs &etc. who have been protected by their theories? Women are the bedrock of the first oppressed class, and as every oppressed class they have almost zero voice in the society they inhabit. Postcolonialism is (supposed to be) critical of colonial oppression of thirdies which of course includes Western chauvinism in cultural and moral practices, which of course if taken seriously would include the Western ideology of Marxism, liberalism, and so on. Any honest dealings with "postcolonialism" would have to admit these are colonial ideologies that are continuing to be enforced on the global south and its people who come to the West, for instance.
