It's a demonic threatening of violence. Trick or treating is symbolic for demons going from door to door to demand a sacrifice and if you refuse to give them what they want (treat), they will curse you (trick). The phrase is pretty modern, because kids would destroy your property if you didn't give them sweets by throwing eggs at your house or scattering toilet paper in your garden or similar acts of vandalism. The whole spiel is supposed to be a ritual to appease the demons of death, darkness and destruction, depicted by the kids going from house to house dressed as scary figures (which is symbolic for them being demonic entities).

At least I know for sure you're a eurocuck. Every single job I had at least 1 person had a free candy bowl in their office/cube. Every time someone went on a business trip they'd bring back snacks from that place too. Hell if this thread is up tomorrow morning I'll even post my office's shared snacks table where people bring snacks for everyone for free.
