I know for example that I've perceived God himself by the immense burden that fell off my shoulders the moment I started to truly and fully believe. My life did a complete 180 since then and I don't even recognize myself anymore. I was extremely suicidal and miserable, I started to lose control over my thoughts and was on the verge of slipping into full psychosis but God said "not on my watch", reached out and pulled me back up and it's nothing that has changed outwardly, I still have the exact same circumstances but the darkness has been lifted permanently and I'm never going back there ever again. And all it took was for me to finally get to the point where I had to humble myself enough to realize that there's powers much atronger than my will, that I have nothing on them and that they are out to destroy me. I had to break my pride and finally reach the point where I asked for help and not in a "God, if you exist, please make my life easier" way, but in a "God, I know for a fact you're more powerful than satan who's dug his claws deep into my soul, please give me strength to get him off of me in your name", and BOOM, there he was, liberating me in an instant. I can never forget how floored I was at witnessing his true power first hand. Maybe you'd need something similar to become unshakable in your own faith too.
