In terms of stuff that's actually proscribed by laws such as ban on polygamy - again - a country that allows for stuff like polycule, also allows some guy to informally marry his second, third, fourth wife and have them all live together, even though their "marriage" would be recognized by secular authorities. As long as your country doesn't actively enforce religious rules, Shariah law or Hasidic rules can exist because you can't stop someone from not working Saturdays or living with three wives, or setting up arbitrage clause that would see some random grandpa solve whatever dispute
