4Chad to 4Chud
What went wrong? What happened to the raids? To the fun memes?mos memes nowadays come from TikTok and other slop social media. But mst importantly /pol/. Funny memes and actual political discussions, the kekistan movement. What happened to 4chan? What happens to b? 4chan needs to be reformed

Leddit and xitter happened.
Also, chuddery is mainstream now, so making memes is difficult.
>>
Unironically xitter is better, I'm not even joking, half of this site is glowies lowering the intellectual level of the users by making idiotic statements
>>

>glowies lowering the intellectual level of the users by making idiotic statements
Xitter is also like that.

You can always find smart people if you play with the algorithm, here you can't

>What went wrong?
People started taking it seriously.
>actual political discussions
>kekistan movement
Disgusting. Look in the mirror. You are what went wrong.
>>
>>544230778
Because shills and agents are corralling us like sheep here, so no real progress with board culture is possible anymore, and perhaps more importantly because of everyone here being fucking dumb now

>raids memes and other for fun activities
>many aspects of life have gotten worse
A lot of 4Chan grew and moved on due to wanting to/succeeding in improving their lives in ways that didn't leave much time for 4chan. The ones who stayed see more is required in a world that is arguably worse and the most productive plans are often best left secret. Economy is worse for many people so anons are either busy going /biz/ mode in order to make more money for their own sake/for any big plans they have, or are simply exhausted from working more jobs.
Since 4chan came to be we've see many terrible things funded (illegally often times) and as impactful as the relatively inexpensive movements that 4chan has made have been, it's very easy to imagine what anons could've accomplished if they actually had the money to fund the good things they wish to restore and improve. That potential still exists too.

>What happened to 4chan?
During the 2010s right wing normalfags immigrated to /v/ and /pol/ after being banned from regular social media, reddit, tumblr, etc. and brought their grudges with them. This culminated in the establishment of a grievance culture calcified in moments like Gamergate and MAGA that essentially saw masses of posers squeeze every bit of creativity out of 4chan for their culture war. That's how /v/ became a board for hating video games (and porn), and /pol/ became a true right wing echo chamber (and porn).

How to improve 4chan? Delete /pol/, delete all the extra boards for generals, total ban on all general threads and anything that tries to be that sort of circlejerk, massive boost in moderation including active oversight of boards to root out the dedicated shitposting factions and the individual schizos whose lives revolve around spamming the exact same things every single day. Put all the popular /pol/ and /v/ slang on the block list so they can't even be used. Put all slurs on the block list for a few years just to chemo the cancer that can't post without them.
>>
pol is not the politics board. It's Politically Incorrect. It's supposed to be for memes too, anything that isn't PC.

But sometime after the Trump election paranoia grew about so-called "slide threads". This were supposedly being spammed by a ShareBlue shilling operation to slide the "important news" off the catalog. Sometimes you'd ask these people what "important news" they were even talking about, and they couldn't answer you.
But in the zeal to purge "slide threads" they started aggressively banning all meme threads in general. Only so-called "informative" threads are allowed, usually meaning a screenshot of a news site or twitter post.

Seriously bring back Swaglord

This is a brown board

Oh, and it shouldn't be forgotten that a variety of figures from Epstein to Steve Bannon saw the potential for using the internet to groom neonazis and have been acting on it. Now it's moved beyond here to more decentralized networks on telegram, discord, and altchans for grooming school shooters, sexual extortion, and neonazism, but /v/ and /pol/ were arranged to be the gateway to those layers. As with a great deal of the newfag cancer that's festered in the 2010s and 2020s, that functionality was moved to twitter with Musk's purchase of the platform to serve as "4chan" 2.0

hello sir, those are bots and paid shills, even schizos wouldn't sit there posting the same 1ptid threads 24/07
>>
>>544230778
The site was made not interesting, as was planned.

If you find a good alt, let us know
>>
>>544230778
Except the site is a fucking graveyard and there are only jeets and redditors raiding the place 24/7
>>
Read this closely and realize that they aren't the only group that did/do this.
Old internet culture is never coming back. There's no good turf but your own, and finding out how to turn that turf into something is not as trivial as coming to this place. I don't know what is or what it has to be, but if there's to be an alternative it absolutely has to be more closed off, not in that it's necesarilly strict about letting anyone in, but radically enforces it's culture. Open season imageboards are designed to be ruined and that's what happenned to this literal joke of a website.
>>
Like 90% of people are still currently range banned for being too based.
/pol/ is still the basedest place on the internet and it's not about the thread that are up, it's about the mentality of the people here that is psychic in nature and which has already spread to culture at large.

Twitter is /pol/, reddit is /pol/, youtube is /pol/.

I miss the 4chan that produced things like this. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yveA_vO22ys
I miss when the memes had any depth. I know it's just the internet, but it no doubt had something special about it, and I don't think there's anything about the modern internet that even compares, none of it feels special anymore, it's all on developed turf now, and it bothers me because there's really nothing that fully gives a glimpse of what was anymore, people develop their ideas about the contingent developements ad hoc, and then because of that it feels impossible to even bother with any of it anymore. It will never be special again because the people who would make it so are too scattered. Those are just my stupid thoughts. There's no point in taking these things seriously if you aren't doing something to fix it, you literally just hurt yourself caring if you aren't transmuting it into creation.

>>544232803
>play with the algorithm
yeah you play with the algorithm by looking at the same three twitter accounts post opinions stolen from pol five days prior.Nice algorithm play, truly the smartest peruvian
>>
Also fuck every retard who pretends everything /pol/ 4chan, etc was all "MUH GAMERGATE MUG JEFFREY EPSTEIN MUH". Philistines. Some of the most insufferable philistines on the internet. No honest person can be such an ignorant cocksucker unless they were never here or coping fags who purposefully put themselves under a rock. Bully any retard who says that shit.
>>
>>544236700
That is an amazing meme anon.

I do miss the old internet too. I know its buried but still there because whenever something happens that shuts down the shills and other bullshit it immediately reveals itself shows that nothing has changed deep down. That is why you keep resisting and fighting back. The anons and people who made that place are still kicking. One day you might even have a reunion with those guys.

>>544230778
4chan became filled with unironic retards, the severely mentally ill, and trump worshipping miggers who thought they were in good company.
