it used to be good, we all remember when we would always find what we we're looking for quickly. now it is terrible. there are 4 likely reasons for this decline in search quality.1) they want us to move over to ai. so they've been making standard search increasingly useless. they actually knew ai was coming years before the rest of us did.2) they don't want an informed public that has easy access to information that they don't want us to have. they want us to find the results they want for us not the objective results we're actually looking for. 3) search engine optimization has gone too far. every website is trying to get found for every search, even unrelated searches, and they're all gaming the system.4) search has been dumbed down for retards. no longer does the search give you what you asked for, it tries to guess what it thinks you actually meant, instead of trusting that you did the search correctly. because they think we're all fucking retarded and don't know how to use search. and if you do actually know how to use search, this is only going to fuck up your results.
