My neighbor brings in about $200k between he and his wife. There's a dude I know in my neighborhood who brings in about $100k working at the military base near us. A bunch of people are bringing in $100k+ working at the factory near me where they make a ton of shit for the military. And there's a ton of private, heavy industry as well. Yes, we live in a semi-rural area where I can hear cows moo-ing in the morning. But we all also live in 3500 square foot, brand new homes that we all paid between $250k-$315k for.

Boring as fuck. That's why Ive been born and raised and still stay in Chicago. Always something to do, always a happening and always a way to make money. It's not that bad here if you're not a big fat pussy and know how to deal with nogs. On the other hand I spend a ton of time out in the countryside about 300 miles away. It's great for peace, but I can't live there. It's too boring and empty and ticks like me.
