>>
>>544294712
Endless amount of propganda.

Wikileaks latest movie the six billion dollar man was shown at cannes with great responses. Not a single plattform wanted to show it, they all have CIA sponsored propaganda in its place.

You figure what happened
>>
>>544294712
got bought out by russia

Assange stopped leaking things because he wanted Trump elected to destroy America. He got what he wanted. Very based.

>>544295186
This seems likely

Leaking state secrets makes you suicidal.
People finally figured out it's bad for mental health.

China would be the highest bidder, no and he was in communication with the both of them. I’d like you to explain the reasoning a bit more

>China would be the highest bidder, no?*

I lost track years ago. But the deals with RT did not help his case neither did the revelations that he too wanted asylum in Russia at one point in time. I am not learned about the developments in his case, as mentioned i lost track.
>>
>>544295770
>china
lmao. Its not about who has the biggest economy its about who is a player in this space, China wasnt even on the map when assange was the shit.
>>
>>544296187
Also add that the OPCW douma case smells like Russian influence. That one in particular i fell for and ever since ive not liked Wikileaks all that much. Its a perfect case study for who is a part of the information sphere that supports contrarian narratives, usually created in moscow.

It's 2026. Ruining a box of produce at minimum salary employment makes you suicidal.

10 years ago ass-an-J made allegedly said he was going to release something about a granny running for potus then he got ass raped and the Internet was severely cut in some part of the world then he was escorted outside of his basement and then he never released anything about the granny
the end

>>544296221
Ty for the background fren. I’m only learning this stuff now in the present as a Zoomer, so it’s really not the most accessible history to learn about.

No worries. But if you want to explore information warfare in this age you are in for a world of hurt. Trying to asses what is nefarious and not is extremely difficult, Russia is rather easy since they push contrarian stuff 80% of the time, and well if it ends up portratying Russias as good you know etc. But if you want to judge wether cringe tiktoks is a part of MSS strategy you got some headaches coming. Its all very difficult. Once you start learning about cognitive warfare and what people are sayin about that it just gets worse and worse.

For instance right now there are people with fancy titles in the US IC saying that opposition to data centers is cognitive warfare, with some nuances of course. But you got the point. Social movements are subject to a lot of scrutiny by the intel services for a reason. Researching this stuff can be very depressing..

It makes me rather hopeful. There is no other point in time in which such critical information could be accessible.
Many good resources online, but as you said the difficulty is in parsing the lies from the truth.
I’ve been consulting this archive(https://irp.fas.org/offdocs/reform.htm) frequently as of late to learn more about the US IC, it’s a past and outdated congressional project but contains very good background information and it details some methodologies of IC agencies(something called the “intelligence cycle” iirc). Neat stuff

a small tech company called palantir was in charge of taking down wikileaks.

Julian Assange was largely responsible for getting Trump elected in 2016. Gotta tip off my hat to him. As bad as things are under trump everyone has to admit they would be way worse under Hilary Clinton or Kamala Harris...a lot lot worse.

If you want to ponder the fun questions. Think about the inherent weakness of democracy versus the authoritarian models of our enemies. We are open societies with free acess to information while our enemies restrict access, but they are free to fuck with us on the open web. This has caused very serious problems as you can see quite blatantly in the United States and around Europe.

Do you think we should firewall the internet against our enemies or will we prevail without blocking them? Its a fun thought experiment.
>>
>>544297826
I think the US should firewall Israel and India and NYC

yeah. assange got played.
he missed the memo that trump, epstein, and thiel were all buddies, leading to >>544297505

Interesting stuff. Don't forget Comey also announced the investigation against Clinton based on the Assange leaks, so Comey also had a lot to do with getting him elected.

I still don't get what pissed trump off so much to fire Comey. Comey was doing everything to come across as Trump's guy. And Trump firing him is what stymied his first term because led to Russia, Russia, Russia and his impeachment hearings

>Do you think we should firewall the internet against our enemies or will we prevail without blocking them? It’s a fun thought experiment.
You may find my answer contrived or even embarrassing but I believe in free speech and the free exchange of ideas.
As a product of child neglect plus an overage of time spent on screens during the 2007-2014 period, I consider myself to have been raised primarily not by my parents or my locale but rather by strangers on the internet - by people much like yourself. I credit the positive nature of that experience to the openness of the internet during that time period.
Thus, I am inclined to believe that free expression is the answer here, and that it is the method by which we should interface with even our most authoritarian enemies. I stake my life on that principle.
>>
>>544298352
>You may find my answer contrived or even embarrassing
I dont, i consider it the correct answer.
>>
>>544298243
trump had to shut down the crossfire hurricane dossier no matter what.
in a better world wikileaks would be a good place to disclose the epstein files, but instead we had trump jr asking for hillary's emails from them.
>>
>>544297720
It's not always suicide.
Sometimes leakers crack under the pressure of all their slanderous accusations and troon out too.
If I was me, I would find some other way to solve a problem, rather than becoming a leaker.
>>
>>544298554
May I ask you a question now? And forgive me if it’s poorly formed/irrelevant, but I want your thoughts on this:
If Freemasons position themselves as defenders of this shared tradition of free expression and liberty, are you and I not called to action to join them? Ought we not join a vanguard that could double the effects of our efforts? Or is all their pro-wisdom posturing void in the face of alleged oaths of secrecy?
I literally dont know the answer here
>>
>>544298964
>Freemasons
they practice black magic.

I really don’t think kama would have >added random tarrifs to everywhere,
>do obvious market manipulation,
>fire every competent guy from the office, because your billionaire friends wants to train his ai
>made a advertisement for tesla cars
>started a war for jewsrael
>fire half of the fbi and know foreign spys are all inside
>ruin every trustworthy alliance with any other existing country and speedrun the downfall of the us

Free expression ultimately leads to less corrupt societies. So if Russia was behind WikiLeaks, all they did was strengthen the United States by helping Americans root out corruption from within. The repuation of the elite does not matter. If Russia was behind the Epstein scandal, then they helped us out again. Good for them.

Although I highly doubt Russia was even behind any of this.

The problem is that the US has gotten too powerful, and absolute power corrupts absolutely. If the Russians were wise, they wouldn't have backed these groups. Instead it would be in Russia's best interest if the US turned into a corrupt shithole (like Russia is today).

Free expression roots out corruption, and it returns a society to a more stable state. Only the truth shall remain sovereign in a free society. We're nowhere close to the ideal.

The best arguments against it usually stem from the security on your fraternal oath, that being your life.
And after all: philosophy is the love of wisdom, and love is a free gift given freely.
We should share the fruits of wisdom, eh?
