If the Dems take the house and senate doesn't that mean they can remove him from office afterwards with a 2/3 majority vote?
>>544340725He did sell out America to the fucking filthy kikes in Israel.
>>544340725yes, but they'll never achieve a 2/3 majority vote of the senate
>>544340725>To reach a 67-seat supermajority, a party must hold two-thirds of the total Senate. In any single midterm election cycle, only one-third of Senate seats (33 or 34 seats) are up for electionShort answer, no, not without a fair amount of Republicans turning against Trump and voting with Democrats on the issue which isn't likely to happen. He'll still most likely be impeached in the House but, just like last time, it'll be more of a symbolic win for Dems than anything.
>>544340832>>544340850If he does something really bad, like actually trying to cancel midterms, enough Republicans might flip to try and distance themselves from him and save their own careers.
>>544340725>half the country hates him and wants him impeached>pisses off literally all his allies, ruins US global hegemony over western world that it has enjoyed since WW2>Russia and China make fun of him and will take over US spheres of influence across the world as US becomes the new Nazi Germany as no one wants to trade or ally with them, leaving them completely isolated both politically and economically>gives absolute governmental powers to billionaire oligarch sperg who isn't even american himself>maga cultists will defend all this just to "own the libs"What a fucking rideIt will take decades for US to recover it's reputation after this clownIf he isn't stopped soon, we're literally witnessing Fall of Rome in our time
>>544341122>If he isn't stopped soon, we're literally witnessing Fall of Rome in our timeIt's already over. The damage is done, anon.
>>544340725Because it worked so well the first two times they tried it.
>>544340961Or worse, if he tries another January 6.
Why would you do that, 2 more years of him being a useless retard just makes them look better.
>>544340725Impeachment is a simple majority in the house. In and of itself, that does fuck all. The senate has a trial (if they want to) and 2/3 of senators (67) must vote to convict and remove the president. In other words, not going to happen. You might get an impeachment vote in the house, but it's all theater and a waste of time.
>>544340961>>544341405Nah Republicans won't care about that. They didn't after 2020 after all. Plus Trump already tried to delay the swearing in of Democrats and didn't exactly get much pushback there from his own party.https://azmirror.com/2025/10/29/johnson-sets-record-refusing-to-swear-in-adelita-grijalva-for-36-days-after-she-won-election/
