Trannies,

We have all discussed at length the numerous (endless) false flag attacks conducted by ukraine. The most recent, to my knowledge, are the bulgarian ships that recently blew up.

Despite all that, did you all hear what Rutte had to say to reporters?

Reporters asked Rutte if he thought Russia posed any kind of immediate threat to Europe. To which, he said no.

>NATO-Russia Tensions: Mark Rutte Says 'No Immediate Threat To Territory Of NATO Countries'
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WJTcq_XaxbE

He almost acts as if its preposterous to even ask.

Knowing this, does it make it clear to you all now how POORLY the ukrainian information war was handled?

Russia's Biggest Business Lobby Wants Weaker Ruble, Rate Cuts Instead of Windfall Tax

Russia's largest business lobby urged the government to weaken the ruble and cut interest rates to shore up a deficit swollen by military spending, pushing back against a planned windfall tax on metals and mining companies.
The Russian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs, whose members account for about 60% of the country's gross domestic product, laid out its case in a letter dated Oct. 9 from its head Alexander Shokhin to Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin. Kommersant reported on the letter on Oct. 15, a day after it surfaced on the Telegram channel May Decree; the Finance Ministry said it received the proposals and would review them.
The union argues the government's tax plans — set to take effect from 2027 — break promises to keep fiscal conditions unchanged through 2030, following earlier increases in corporate, personal income and value-added taxes. The windfall levy, which would take 30% of the windfall that mining and metals companies earn from world prices above their 2025 levels — 20% for gold producers — and which the ministry expects to yield 600 billion rubles ($7.2 billion) over three years, "has distorted economic substance" and "is in effect a turnover tax," the letter said. As an alternative, the RSPP proposed a temporary, economy-wide increase of 0.5 to 1 percentage point in the profit-tax rate.
"A return to a balanced level of interest rates and the ruble's real exchange rate will broaden the tax base in export-oriented sectors of the economy and at the same time reduce the budget's spending on debt servicing and subsidies for domestic lending," the letter said.

The appeal lands on a budget under growing strain. The 2026 spending plan assumed a dollar worth as much as 92.2 rubles, targeting 8.9 trillion rubles in oil and gas revenues and a deficit of 3.8 trillion rubles. In the first half of 2026, the dollar averaged 76.3 rubles and hydrocarbon revenues dropped 22.7%. The Accounts Chamber expects the treasury to miss its oil-and-gas tax target by 1.6 trillion rubles ($19 billion) this year, while the Finance Ministry's latest estimate puts the 2026 deficit at 7.3 trillion rubles ($87 billion) — roughly double the original plan. The draft budget for 2027 foresees a further gap of 5.5 trillion rubles.

Germany's AfD urges its own "diesel deal" with Russia, following Trump's pact with Putin

The co-leader of Germany's far-right Alternative for Germany (AfD) party called on Oct. 13 for Berlin to negotiate its own "diesel deal" with Russia on diesel fuel, oil and gas supplies, holding up U.S. President Donald Trump's agreement with Russian President Vladimir Putin as a model.
"We in the AfD want diesel deliveries, a diesel deal for Germany. We want natural gas and oil from Russia to provide relief to German consumers and German companies," Alice Weidel told journalists in Berlin before a meeting of the AfD's parliamentary group in the Bundestag. "We also want a diesel deal for the Germans, for our country, for Germany. And that's why we have to sit down at the table."
Trump, she said, was taking "the right path," a "very pragmatic" one. "He has pulled out, he's making diesel deals for his consumers, for the American consumers, while we here are left out in the cold," Weidel said, calling Germany's Ukraine policy a failure. She also said Ukraine had "already lost the war" and that it was wrong to keep financing it.
She accused Berlin and the EU of damaging their own economies and public finances by supporting Ukraine and imposing sanctions on Russia, noting that while Germany approves new restrictions, Washington and Moscow strike fuel-supply and other deals beneficial to both sides.
Trump announced the deal on Oct. 9 after a phone call with Putin, saying more than 300,000 tonnes of Russian diesel would be made available "immediately" for the United States and the world market. Reuters reported that the arrangement covers some 2.25 million barrels and that U.S. envoys Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner told Ukrainian representatives it was meant to soften Moscow's position.

Chancellor Friedrich Merz has rejected following the U.S. example. "We have taken note of the agreement between the United States and Russia on diesel exports," he said, adding that Russia negotiates seriously only under pressure and calling instead for tougher sanctions after continued Russian attacks on Ukraine's energy infrastructure.
The European Union, whose member states still covered about 19% of their gas imports with Russian pipeline gas and LNG in 2025, is working on a further package of sanctions in response to the deal, Politico reported. U.S. diesel prices, meanwhile, have risen above the level at which they stood before Trump's announcement.

Russian Drones Strike Merchant Tankers Off Romania In First-Ever Hits Inside NATO Waters As Black Sea Shipping War Escalates

The Black Sea shipping war crossed a new threshold overnight on Oct. 14–15, when two aerial drones struck two empty chemical tankers off the Romanian coast — the first time merchant vessels have been hit inside the territorial waters of a NATO country since the start of Russia's full-scale war against Ukraine.
"Two drones hit them," Romanian President Nicușor Dan told journalists at an EU summit in Brussels on Oct. 15. After meeting NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte alongside Bulgarian Prime Minister Rumen Radev, Dan described the wave of strikes on commercial shipping as Russian attempts to destabilize the alliance's eastern flank and weaken support for Ukraine, Reuters reported. "There will surely be a reaction" from the Romanian state, he warned, adding that the attacks were "a direct consequence of Russia's war of aggression against Ukraine."

The first ship hit was the Comoros-flagged chemical and products tanker Yara J, struck late on Oct. 14 some 8–10 nautical miles southeast of the port of Sulina, inside Romanian territorial waters. Its crew put out the fire themselves and all were reported safe. Around 7 a.m. on Oct. 15, blasts and a fire were reported aboard the San Marino-flagged chemical tanker Wine Trader, empty and sailing from Tunisia, some 13 nautical miles southeast of Sulina — just outside Romanian waters, according to coordinates given by the Romanian Naval Authority. Five of the Wine Trader's 12 crew were rescued, two of them treated for burns and smoke inhalation; seven remain missing. Both ships had been anchored near the mouth of the Sulina channel, the Danube–Black Sea artery that has become critical to Ukraine's exports as Russia pounds its own Black Sea ports.

"Escalation in the western part of the Black Sea is reaching a new level," Andrei Sizov, director of the SovEcon consultancy, told The Moscow Times. "Until now, there have been no attacks on merchant ships in the territorial waters of NATO countries."
The strikes are the latest in a rapid-fire series: at least five cargo ships have now been hit off the coasts of NATO members Romania and Bulgaria in the past ten days, with at least 23 sailors dead or missing. On Oct. 13, drones struck two ships off Bulgaria: the Ukrainian-owned, Maltese-flagged Chelsea 3, hit by three aerial drones around 1:30 a.m. — its entire 15-man crew of seven Ukrainians and eight Azerbaijanis was rescued — and the Turkish-owned Azov Concord, which sank with 11 crew members missing.
Bulgaria has not yet attributed the attacks with evidence. Radev said the sunken ship would be towed to port to be searched for drone debris: "Then we will have solid evidence to identify the responsible party." But he was blunter in Brussels, telling the Financial Times: "We do not believe Ukraine could attack its own ships and crews. There is no logic in that. Thus, the circumstances of this attack point to Russia." He delivered the same message to Russian Ambassador Eleonora Mitrofanova, whom he summoned in Sofia on Oct. 13 — a meeting at which, by Sofia's own readout, the envoy said she had no information from Moscow's defense ministry and did not rule out a provocation by a third country.
>>
>>544421950
3/?

Attacks inside NATO waters represent "a significant... additional level of threat to vessels operating in this area," said Thomas Alexa, a maritime security analyst at the consultancy Ambrey, which assessed that strikes in the alliance members' economic zones earlier this month were "highly likely" carried out by Russian forces against vessels linked to Ukrainian trade. Moscow, for its part, claims it targets only ships carrying weapons and dual-use cargo to Ukrainian ports — a claim Kyiv and its partners reject.
NATO, which a military source told German media had identified the drones as Russian-made, said its ambassadors would discuss the strikes next week. Rutte said the alliance has already "strengthened our posture along the eastern flank, including with increasing counter-drone capabilities," and would "adjust our deterrence and defense posture as needed." Bucharest and Sofia are weighing consultations under Article 4 of the North Atlantic Treaty.

Russia puts exiled Kremlin critic Alexander Nevzorov on "terrorists and extremists" list

Russia's financial monitoring service said on Oct. 15 it had added exiled journalist Alexander Nevzorov, one of the most prominent Kremlin critics to have fled abroad since the war in Ukraine began, to its list of "terrorrists and extremists."
The move means the 68-year-old, whom Russia designates a "foreign agent," is now listed in his own name — a step beyond the listing he and his wife Lidia already received in March 2025 as the "extremist association" they were declared to form. People on the Rosfinmonitoring register have their bank accounts frozen and are barred from property transactions.
Nevzorov, a former television host, left Russia shortly after Moscow launched its full-scale invasion of Ukraine in February 2022 and has publicly denounced the Kremlin ever since. In March 2022, he said that because of this war, however it ends, the regime of President Vladimir Putin would "break its own neck."
"This isn't even a Pyrrhic victory. In any case, it is a defeat. Victories in a war won at such a price — the price of the complete ruin of one's own country, the price of being cursed by the whole world, cursed for generations — such victories are needed by no one. It is an automatic loss," he said in an interview at the time.

Prosecution followed swiftly. In March 2022, investigators opened a case against him under the "military fakes" law over his posts about the shelling of a maternity hospital in Mariupol and about killings in Bucha. He was designated a "foreign agent" in April, put on the federal wanted list in May and arrested in absentia. On Feb. 1, 2023, Moscow's Basmanny District Court sentenced him in absentia to eight years in a general-regime colony — prosecutors had sought nine — and banned him from running websites for four years after his release. Nevzorov called the sentence "the highest order one could dream of," and Interpol refused to declare him wanted or extradite him.
The pressure kept mounting. On July 2, 2024, a court in St. Petersburg declared Nevzorov and his wife an "extremist association" — the first known case of a family being designated as such — banned its activity in Russia and ordered the couple's property forfeited to the state, including land plots, a house, a car and shares in companies. In the spring of 2025, prosecutors opened a new case against both spouses on charges of financing extremist activity, prompted by their appeals for donations. In 2022, Nevzorov and his wife received Ukrainian citizenship by decree of President Volodymyr Zelenskiy.

Well spend 100 days stockpiling drones and then launch a massive attack of 100 days rolled into one on day 101. In the meanwhile use 300km of starlink for opportunity targets inside russia. If americans fuck around with starlink coverage in the meanwhile immidiately strike a refinery.

you don't bargain with a puppet, you give it orders. washington asked kyiv to stop hitting refineries half a dozen times and got ignored. kyiv did a 3-day pause on request, then switched the strikes back on. then came the reported intel/PURL threats. now two senators are offering a sweetener to buy 100 days. that's what negotiating with a sovereign state looks like

>"people outside ukraine control how far into russia you can strike"
perm is 1,500+ km from the border, hit with ukrainian-made weapons. starlink doesn't even work in russia, the refinery drones never used it. the offer is EXTRA reach to hunt launchers, not a permission slip

>"now that ukrainian elections are possible"
zelensky's condition is a 60-day ceasefire from putin. elections are possible the moment your side stops shooting

and if depending on an american company makes you not sovereign:
>russian army ran on thousands of smuggled starlinks
>spacex whitelisted them off
>russian units back on walkie-talkies
an american billionaire flipped a switch and your frontline went quiet. by your own standard russia isn't sovereign either

its theater.

I thought we would have to wait a week or more before the Rat King began obeying again.

>its theater.

Six requests ignored. A diesel phone call to Moscow. Threats on intel and PURL. Then two senators arrive bearing gifts. Quite the theater. Your Rat King made the most powerful man on earth ask six times.

>before the Rat King began obeying again

Obedience that takes six refusals, a call to Putin, threats and a Senate sweetener is called bargaining, sailor. Puppets fold on the first ask.

>The moral of the story remains the same.

It does. The only thing that has paused the refinery strikes is Washington. Not Russian air defense. Not the "great power." Washington. Russia's ability to keep its own refineries standing is entirely in the hands of people outside of Russia.

>no such thing.

Such thing. Trump called for elections, Zelensky answered: 60-day ceasefire from Putin, then a vote. Still waiting on Moscow.

>The options are to obey or be replaced.

Trump said it was time for a new president back in September. This week Zelensky told Piers Morgan he won't step down under pressure. Still in office. So much for "replaced."

>>
>>544423717
>Zelensky answered: 60-day ceasefire from Putin

why did he change his answer?

we were always told it isnt possible for ukraine to have elections during a war.

now it can be done in 60 days?

why is that?
>>
>>544423732
>Also, did you not pay attention

Two replies to one post in three minutes. The first one wasn't finished coping, I take it.

>"We will allow you to continue your war."

The war continues either way. The deal is 100 days off refineries in exchange for ~300 km of Starlink inside Russia to hunt launchers. Zelensky had already named his price publicly: Patriots for a refinery pause. The senators countered with Starlink. This is the definition of a counter-offer.

Meanwhile, Russia's reward for 100 quiet days at its refineries is satellite-guided strikes on its launchers 300 km deep. A deal about Russia's refineries, negotiated between Washington and Kyiv. Moscow wasn't in the room.

This is the definition of humiliation.

Immediately after you stand up from kneeling, you will read the deal.

>we were always told it isnt possible for ukraine to have elections during a war

It isn't. Ukrainian law bans elections under martial law. A total ceasefire is the part where the shooting stops. You were told correctly. You simply did not listen.

>now it can be done in 60 days?

In 60 days of no shelling. That is the condition, not a loophole.

>I assure you, wars need funding.

I assure you, they do. That is why the EU is disbursing €90 billion for 2026-27, €60 billion of it for defense. The first military tranche: drones made in Ukraine.

Ukraine repays only after Russia pays reparations. Until then, Russian assets stay frozen. The war is being funded on Moscow's tab.

>ukraine wont even be able to feed itself

~37 million tonnes of grain exported last season. Countries that cannot feed themselves do not ship 37 million tonnes abroad.

>without foreign aid

Provided absolutely every country withdraws. Which isn't going to happen. The man who blocked the loan lost his election in April.

Meanwhile, Russia ramps up sabotage in Europe. Germany logged 165 suspected sabotage cases by September. Danish intelligence: Russia planned sabotage at defense plants to halt shipments to Ukraine.

If the aid were drying up on its own, why would Moscow need to burn it?

First prize is €90 billion. Second prize is Orbán, voted out. Third prize is you, on /uhg/, on a Friday.

DC has been trying since Saturday.

>Oct 16: same president

Six requests to stop hitting refineries: ignored. It took threats, a diesel call to Putin and a Senate sweetener to buy a pause. At that speed, DC picks Ukraine's next president sometime around 2040.

Meanwhile, by the White House's own account, Kyiv's drones are moving American pump prices less than three weeks before the midterms. His own officials say Trump is "really mad."

So who decides who runs whom, exactly? At this rate Kyiv picks the next Congress before DC picks the next Ukrainian president.

Kyiv set Moscow's milkshake on fire. America is paying at the pump.

Two posts in 76 seconds. You are posting faster than you are reading.

>The Rat King spent all that by April

In April the loan was still blocked by Orbán. First tranche: June at the earliest. Brussels expects about €20 billion out by the end of 2026. He spent €90 billion before receiving the first euro. Remarkable man.

>no grain grown in ukraine belongs to ukraine

Ten minutes ago Ukraine could not feed itself. Now it grows 37 million tonnes for export, but it belongs to someone else. Pick one.

Foreigners cannot buy Ukrainian farmland. Neither can foreign-based companies. Not even Ukrainian agroholdings with foreign beneficiaries. Changing that takes a national referendum, and Ukrainians polled 80%+ against. Monsanto, the usual villain in this pasta, stopped existing in 2018.

The only Ukrainian grain that doesn't belong to Ukraine is the grain Russia loots from occupied farms.

You have mistaken Ukraine for the plot of a 1974 Polanski film. Secret buyers, front names, a whole valley bought out from under the farmers.

Forget it, anon. It's Chinatown.

As much as Trump likes to boast that US doesn't need anyone's help (after begging Europe to help him), the US military officials unofficially pointed out that they kinda need those Ukrainian drones.

Russia aims to cut power, heat and water to Kyiv, Kharkiv and Odesa within a month — NYT
Russian President Vladimir Putin's government is counting on a single month of missile and drone strikes to cripple Ukraine's power grid and cut Kyiv, Kharkiv and Odesa off from electricity, heating and water, The New York Times reported on Oct. 15, citing a document Ukraine shared with European officials as an intercepted Russian strike plan.
The document — dated August and written in Russian, shown to European partners by Ukrainian Energy Minister Denys Shmyhal in Paris in September — estimates Moscow would need about 70 ballistic missiles, 720 long-range drones and 150 guided aerial bombs to do it. The NYT, which reviewed a copy, said it could not independently authenticate the document, but noted the figures roughly match the number of ballistic missiles and drones that get past Ukrainian air defences in an average month, according to an analysis of Ukrainian air force data.
If the plan succeeds, the three cities would lose 90% of their electrical capacity, heat supplies would fall by 90%, and water and sewage systems would suffer severe disruptions, the newspaper said.
The NYT assessed that the Russian leadership hopes this winter to achieve what four previous winters of attacks failed to do — destroy Ukraine's energy system and force Kyiv to capitulate. Ukraine's ability to repel the strikes has weakened after years of bombardment and reduced U.S. military aid, it said, while Russia's missile and drone arsenal has grown.
The assessment came a day after one of the war's largest air attacks: on Oct. 14, Russia launched 39 ballistic missiles at Ukraine, and the air force said it shot down only four. Ukraine has run out of interceptor missiles for its U.S.-made Patriot systems, the NYT reported, leaving it more exposed to ballistic missile strikes.

>Ten minutes ago Ukraine could not feed itself. Now it grows 37 million tonnes for export

you really are slow.

ukraine is a failed state, deeply in debt.

ukraine gets to grow the grain. no one said they get to feed themselves with it.

which is why it is all exported.

Slow enough to read the numbers.

>which is why it is all exported

2025 harvest: ~58 million tonnes of grain, ~60 with the late corn. Exported: ~37. The other ~20 million tonnes stayed home. That is called lunch. Contrary to Gordon Gekko, lunch is not for wimps.

>ukraine is a failed state, deeply in debt.

Deeply in debt, yes. Over 100% of GDP. Japan is at ~200%. Italy, ~138%. Failed states, all of them.

A failed state loses control of its territory and its monopoly on force. Ukraine collects taxes, runs an IMF program and fields the army that cost you 50k+ casualties in September, per NATO.

Meanwhile Russia: a mercenary column marched on Moscow in 2023. Ukraine held a slice of Kursk Oblast for months in 2024-25. Russia's refineries are only safe when Washington asks Kyiv nicely.

try again.

Quite a few people in the real world fall for his kind of """"""smarts"""""", usually, people like our beloved pidor are middle-aged and have nothing to show for their life. In fact, you'll see that quite a few of pidorashkas are like that - pushing their 40s and upset that they're just as much of biological refuse as they were when they were 20. So they must compensate, they MUST be this kitchen, arm-chair expert on things, even though they are unkempt, stink of stale beer and piss and their underwear is full of skidmarks.

Republicans in the US Senate have offered Zelensky an extension of Starlink's coverage by 300 kilometers into Russia in exchange for 100-Day Halt on Oil Refineries, - WSJ.

According to the sources, Zelensky expressed a willingness to make such a deal.

Expanding Starlink's coverage will allow Ukraine to use satellite communications to launch strikes against Russian missile launchers.
