e-votes should never be allowed, because they cannot be traced. the citizen casting his vote has absolutely zero way to tell if the counter went up by 1 for the right candidate/party after he pressed a button, and it is untracable later on.with physical ballots, you can do it no biggie. we had it in my district before - one party supposedly had zero votes, people came forth and said it's not possible because they voted for them, all ballots had to be recounted and it turned out that someone had been fucking with the results.with e-votes, that no longer works. every count will come out the exact same. once it's been internally rigged, there is no way to ever correct it again. doesn't even need to be intentional rigging, it could also be a bug in the software
