Weekly work hours in the US.
40 hours, usually broken down into 8 hours a day, 5 days a week.
Minimum wage in most states is usually around 3,000 U.S. dollars or close to that.
The average salary in the country is usually just under 7,000 U.S. dollars, which comes out to about 5,000 U.S. dollars after taxes.

How the hell do you guys have it this good and still keep complaining?
What the fuck is wrong with you?

We're living through a Golden Age right now and Americans are still bitching and moaning simply because they're too spoiled to realize how much better off they are than the rest of the world

Imagine how they would react if things actually got bad, or at least if the situation were the same as that of an average country.

Min wage is $7.25 an hour with no healthcare or vacation, and you can be fired for literally anything. They can even work you until you die with no repercussions. And you will pay taxes on that $7.25 too

That's the federal minimum wage, not the minimum wage in most states, and even then it's still much more than what the minimum wage pays in my country to people who work more.

you're really confused. We live in toy land. We can have toys but there are no houses or jobs or women

Turns out you can never satisfy ungrateful people, no matter how much you shove up their arse.

America looks good on paper but in reality half our population lives worse than an albanian or moldovan, the poorest countries in Europe (Ukraine doesn't count).

An albanian taxi driver is making 20$ a ride driving American tourists around. Compare that to an American pizza driver making 3-5$ every time they drop off a pizza. Then remember how that pizza guy can't move out of his parents house because the cheapest rent is 2000$ a month, if he gets into a car accident while driving he might have a six figure medical bill and having to buy a car or even just go to a mechanic to fix his car will be a five figure loan with interest because they aren't going to have the cash to afford it

The rich and poor divide in America is astronomical

This Golden Age is so Rockin' that the Republicunts are going to be voted out in two weeks.

Yea but we are not some third world shithole where we have accept the status quo. If the people feel that they should be paid more for their labor, then they have a right to protest and vote for the people who will make our lives easier. We don't have to just sit down and take it if we dont want to, no matter what Trump and his army of miggers tell you.

It's just that you guys keep acting all dramatic, as if the people of your country were at death's door.

Americans are pro at feeling like the victim. They could live in a mansion and have everything they could ever want and still find a way to feel sorry for themselves. It's their national sport.
>>

The median American wastes so much on shit like car maintenance and insurance costs that Europeans who look way worse off on paper are actually matching or exceeding our standards of living.

I don't think the majority of people are at deaths door, but the last great recession is still fresh in everyone's mind where so many people lost their houses and jobs. I think most people would want to avoid that, and given our current conditions being similar to 2008 (active Middle Eastern war, rising unemployment, rising grocery and gas costs, rising debt and insterest rates, republican admin) they want to mobilize as many people as they can to stop this from happening again. Especially to counter those that say everything is fine and no one should do anything.

Those of us working more than 40 hours are too busy working to complain.
