The Army offered me a helicopter pilot program but my parents bullied me into going to college instead. In hindsight I wish I'd done the Army thing instead, my degree ended up being useless.Not much risk of a draft for me nowadays, I'm a machinist at one of only a couple of companies in the country that can make critical parts for major US defense systems and I've got documented medical problems that'd probably exempt me anyway.
