The boomers are agitating again in nearly every state so they can pass legislation to avoid paying property taxes. They say they can’t afford the monthly cost, and part of me does get it. If you live in areas like New Jersey, the most average, mediocre, 3 bed, 2 bath home with 2000 sqft is paying $18-$24k in property taxes. If you have no income, that does start hurting.
