May says that as a classic liberal he is opposed to the state telling women what they can and cannot wear. And that it is no ones business if a woman wishes to wear a burqa.

Dudes a fag. He constantly talks about self-censorship, "I can't say this anymore..." or refuses to do things like go to a maid cafe in Japan because of sexism or some shit.

James May is pretty much just a boomer. He just wants to drink gin in his bar and wonder why bars are closing down, why his traditional british culture is dying and remark that "times change" 'till he dies.

He enjoyed the cultural fruits of the past, but he has no reason to care if the future generation gets to have them too, as it's all too alien to him. The people are different, the places changed, so why should he care? He got his, after all.

I hated these top gear boomers before it was cool

That Japan episode is pretty telling for his overall mindset of the world and how simplistic it is. The fellow understands that Japan is interesting because it is Japanese and has a cognitive conflict about the culture changing to a more multicultural one, yet chooses to let the thought die - it is easier that way, after all. Besides, if he cared about that, should he not care about Britain? His hands are tied! Better not think at all.

if someone really wants to wear a burqa, why wouldn't they be allowed to do it?

May is consistent. He has always been in favour of small government, low taxes and personal freedom. His view on the burqa is in line with this

Yes, he's a cultural cuck, as long as he gets his own small shed to do his hobbies in he's happy.

I don't think we should ban the burka either, we should just ban the burka wearers from this country
>>
He's right though. A burqa ban would never be seriously enforced, the government WANTS infinity Muslims in Britain.
>>
>>544561188
More countries ban burqas than require them.
