Im barely 6 feet tall. when I was 16 I went to NYC the first time and everyone was like 6'1-6'3 it seemed. maybe platform shoes but I was amazed at the tall thin business people (mostly white.. never 100 percent white but like 70 percent white people)that was 1982-83. and midtown still had drag clubs and faggots and hookers. it was seedy as fuck. Time Square was fucked up but comically funny. I enjoyed visiting it like I would a Zoo.but the business people (bankers and such) were very impressive. I wanted to grow up and work in banking. I havn't been there since 2019 and it was just before Covid hit. that is when I heard it went to shit, chased off Trump and Julian. and voted in a Black mayor. and just slid from there.
