What if our simulation actually does end with us living in some totalitarian techno-nightmare hellworld?
>>544579261What if it doesn’t? Have white children. You don’t know what the end game is. Act accordingly to try to materialize the best possible ending for humanity

>>544579261I look forward to living under an AI god emperor. We will work like 4 hours a day, its gonna be sick
our entire reality is similar to a movie with a beginning and an end, and it fits on a large physical medium much like a movie on a DVD. the fatalistic belief is that the future is already predetermined, everything you are going to do is already done in the future, even though it appears uncertain. that's just due to our finite nature. hard to wrap our minds around this since we are used to being the observer. think about it, there's nothing special about your first person point of view, yet it's all you know and see from. there are 8 billion ppl alive right now. and there were ppl alive hundreds of years ago who thought they were observing the present, and that the future was uncertain to them. that's why life does feel like a simulation. it feels like Ai is new but it's been talked about in sci-fi for a long time. there was even that whole movie called iRobot with will smith. and the Matrix obviously has Ai in it, but it was so subtle at the time most of us just focused on "le bad machines". there was a shia labeouf movie with a government Ai that had gone rogue, movie is called eagle eye. point is, all of what appears new or uncertain is not. it's all unfolding to us because we have limited consciousness. a more advanced mind can see the dots connecting and predict the future with high accuracy. there are Ai models that can do this right now.
in less than 10 years, Ai can already make photorealistic images and solve math problems.
