Nearly 5 years ago Putin invaded Ukraine. Beyond the first few months of the war the frontline has remained virtually unchanged. I’ve heard “Ukraine is close to collapse” and “Ukraine will fall any day now” for 5 fucking years. Nothing seems to change. Ukraine is attacking Russia more, not less. The videos alone show that Russian losses have been horrific. What exactly is Russia gaining from this war going on forever?

Is it time to admit the war has been a failure for Russia? All they’ve achieved so far is also killing a lot of Ukrainians when they were just supported to get rid of its Nazis and demilitarize it as an ally again

why does this read as a pre-prepared post, potentially copypasta from somewhere. And utterly pointless
>>
>>544588196
russia took the parts it wanted right away and takes a little bit more every week now. they are developing modern military doctrine for the first time since 1991 and the war, overall, has been very profitable.

this whole thing has also exposed how corrupt the EU and Ukraine are.

so, it wouldn't call it a loss for russia at all.

>All they’ve achieved so far is also killing a lot of Ukrainians when they were just supported to get rid of its Nazis and demilitarize it as an ally again
yes, jew boomer , we've seen these tired JIDF approved talking points many times before but the truth is there can be no real long term peace until the ZOG in Kiev is gone and the Ukraine returned to its rightful owners- the Ukrainian people
>>
>>544588394
I don't think OP is interested in intelligent takes. His job is to shit up the catalog.

If he had any semblance of a braincell, at least one, he'd understand that this war is not a "fun venture" but an inevitably bureaucratic in its implementation. For as long as Russia remains a country, it will never allow Ukraine to align with the west, at any cost whatsoever.
>>
>>544588368
I’ve seen this webm a million times for 5 years. I’ve heard Ukraine is gonna collapse even more. The war never changes. What is Russia achieving with this war?
>>
A tried and true russian tactic is to wait out a superior enemy and absorb their arsenals by offering up hordes of slav peasants and central asians for the enemy to fire upon. Its crude but it has worked many times.
>>
>>544588496
see >>544588469
or tldr; russia is not "achieving" but "enforcing" its hundreds years old national security doctrine.

The problem with westerners and US/UK in particular is that they understand war only through 1 lense:
>what gibs I can gain from invading someone
Russia's wars were always the inverse:
>what problems I can avoid by invading
>>
>>544588394
Yeah im sure it’s profitable to fight a war for 5 years as your country is bombed and you lose hundreds of thousands of conscripts. Thats why Russia is spending like 30% of government expenditures on war now, because its so profitable.

>we never wanted Ukraine just the part coincidentally we “withdrew” to after several months of fighting
Yawn

The frontline is basically the same it was a half decade ago. Please spare me the massive gains BS.
>>
>>544588562
is it in the russian national security interest to get bombed with cruise missiles and drones?
>>
>>544588196
US running out of missiles in Iran
>>
>>544588597
conscripts aren't fighting in the war though
it's mainly contract based.
conscripts are called up in spring and autumn for internal service to later become part of the military reserve

the size of the russian army is currently estimated at 2.39 million to 2.5 million

only 700,000 are actively deployed to Ukraine
>>
>>544588456
>a few Jews killed 20 million people in the span of a summer in 1931
Lmao how is this even possible. Where are the bodies?
And why did Assad flee like a bitch while we’re at it
>>
>>544588619
>is it in the russian national security interest to get bombed with cruise missiles and drones?
it is in russia's national security interest to ensure that neighbours do not have access to cruise missiles and drones.
That will be achieved over time, but sadly Kyiv might no longer be a live-able city by then
>>
>>544588619
>hurr durr lets just allow NATO to bolster up right on our border
that was going to happen anyway retard
it's just that now russia has initiative in the fight
>>
>>544588510
Their new tactic is importing jeets by the assload and tricking them into signing contracts which will send them to the front lines.
>>
>>544588562
Are hundreds of thousands of conscripts and trillions of dollars and daily drone strikes on your cities and industries worth “enforcing a centuries old security doctrine”? Who the fuck cares if there’s Nazis in Ukraine? It’s not remotely worth the massive losses to either side

NATO is bigger than it was pre-forever war; and NATO along Russias border is bigger than it was pre-forever war. So muh security doctrine was another massive failure too.

>>
>>544588710
NATO on Russias border is even bigger now than pre-war. The war caused NATO to expand. 1 million Mobik casualties for nothing.
>>
>>544588769
>ukraine didn't have any cruise missiles and drones five years ago.
I said "have access", I didn't say "have"
Ukraine is a EU/NATO project, has been since 2014 or even earlier.

You think NATO members just one day woke up and thought "hmm, how about I take a huge fucking risk by helping Ukraine to bomb Russia"?
Of course not.
>>
>>544588702
Yeah another 5 years and 1 million casualties and Ukraine will stop doing things they weren’t doing pre-war

Any day now!
>>
>>544588885
i don't think anyone would have sold them such weapons five years ago. now, who cares? what is russia going to do? bomb them? invade them? blow them up? shoot them?

2) NATO has been exposed as one big paypig scheme for military hardware that does not and will not exist
>>

So what your conclusion, that you are confused and something seems illogical and doesn’t make sense? It is not really surprising kek.
>>
>>544588885
Lmao the war caused this clusterfuck that's raining down on Russian cities. Even a year ago it wasn’t this bad with the drone strikes. The fact Ukraines attacks are getting more sophisticated and more into Russian soil and not less despite 5 years of a war you’re supposedly winning should worry you
>>
>>544588829
>Oh please they literally send in the wounded on crutches to get blown up by drones. Russia isn’t gaining anything to justify this. A sliver of border isn’t worth this.
>Spare me the half decade stale propaganda
you cherrypick shit and then convince yourself it's truth.

The problem with you libtards is that you don't understand the fundamental nature of countries.
Russia will never allow Ukraine to be west-aligned for the same reason USA will never allow Latin America to be east-aligned.
You literally have the Monroe Doctrine, and you exercise it for centuries now.

It's not a matter of someone's wishes or desires. It is simply the inevitable mechanism of big states.
The nature of a big state is to never allow another big state to have military influence near its borders.
You can cry and yell about it, but your screams won't change laws of physics.
>>
>>544588196
What did you gain from Afghanistan? And what do you gain sending billion to jewlensky?
>>
>>544588948
NATO is stillarger than it was in 2014 too including along Russias border. 1 million mobiks dead or crippled and trillions spent for nothing.
>>
>>544588936
>i don't think anyone would have sold them such weapons five years ago. now, who cares?
you don't think whatsoever

a state doesn't sell weapons unless it finds it politically interesting to do so.
The west has been providing weapons to Afghanistan and to Chechnya. For same reasons.

In a way Ukraine war is just a Chechnya war on steroids
>>
russians are fundamentally incapable of understanding that it is much easier to escalate than to deescalate.
>>
>>544588955
I’m sure having such bad manpower shortages that you spam wounded in human wave attacks shows the “they’re all happy volunteers” is totally legit
>>
>>544588969
>Lmao the war caused this clusterfuck that's raining down on Russian cities.
no.

political alignment and strategy caused it.
If the west had no interest in stirring up shit with Russia, they would have never sold anything to Ukraine nor would they have ever provided hundreds of billions of $ in un-repayable loans.

You do understand that EU's decision to support Ukraine has cost at least 2 trillion euro in damages to the EU economy in the first 2 years of the war?

What political entitty would take on such enormous personal risk, to protect a country that has NOTHING to do with it?

The problems kicked off starting Maidan.
Maidan started due to EaP project.
EaP project's main sponsors:
>Poland
>Sweden
>Lithuania
>>
>>544589020
Then why doesn’t Russia look for compromises or ceasefires?
>>
>>544589020
the trillions are being spent by NATO, but for alarmingly little results.
Russia is doing what it always does, attrition-cauldron warfare, and it has more people, weapons, energy, and will to fight than the entire collective West.
>>
>>544588985
US wouldn’t spend trillions and 1 million casualties and allow its cities to be bombed day and night in an endless nightmare to stop a Latin American country from theoretically being friendly to an enemy country. Cuba and Nicaragua and Venezuela all fit this bill as it is. This whole geopolitics obsession is retarded when Russia is a half decade into a quagmire that it clearly has no military solution to and is getting worse, not better

What are Russians dying for? What is Russia gaining? All they’ve done is created problems that didn’t exist before, and NATO along Russias borders is largest it’s ever been
>>
>>544589112
>invade country
>can’t beat them
>get bombed
>WTF how could the west do this. Time to sacrifice another million mobiks
>>
>>544589019
>whatabout whatabout
>>
>>544589118
Because Putin is happy sacrificing his own people and spending trillions endlessly so he doesn’t look weak.
>>
>>544589152
Yeah I’m sure NATO is going bankrupt from Russian cities being bombed daily and thousands of vehicles, dozens of ships, hundreds of aircraft; and hundreds of thousands of soldiers (to 0 NATO) lost
>>
>>544589209
>can’t beat them
Ukraine will be beaten, but also sadly destroyed as a state. It's the inevitable outcome if you go by political science and history. And it's unlikely the country will recover its identity for centuries.
>get bombed
nothing new for Russia, it always had to suffer certain costs for maintaining its national security doctrine. The comedic part is that even the enemies in this war are pretty much the same as they were for centuries. Outcomes will be the same as well.

>US wouldn’t spend trillions and 1 million casualties and allow its cities to be bombed day and night in an endless nightmare to stop a Latin American country
that's true.
Russia has thousands of cluster-munition warheads, and they could use them on major Ukrainian cities, and produce millions of civilian casualties, which would lead to an immediate end of the war.
That's what USA would do. They like it quick and bloody.

But Russia views Ukraine as an integral part of its culture and identity, so Putin keeps treating Kyiv like some Holy City.
With as minimal collateral damage as possible.
>>
>>544589366
>But Russia views Ukraine as an integral part of its culture and identity, so Putin keeps treating Kyiv like some Holy City.
that's actually true. Russia's origin was Kievan Rus over a millennium prior, when the Viking Prince Oleg pretty much conquered everything east of Scandinavia and west of the Urals.
>>
>>544589732
Russia's origin is Moscow and Novgorod. If you want to be political.
Kievan Rus is part of the general/overall club.

It is best to look at eastern Europe in the same way you see medieval Italy. Every city was an independent "state" but they all shared an identity.
>>
>>544589167
>US wouldn’t spend trillions
It literally does. Afghanistan alone cost that and you lost. Same for Iraq, which you also just abandoned because Iran was blowing up your bases.

As for KIA, what saves the US is that despite losing wars, its targets can't really go on the offesive either as they are isolated poor nations fighting for their survival. But while US casualties are relatively low, you lose a lot due to violence, obesity, bad healthcare, etc. Some schoolshootings in the US are more deadly than the daily bombings in Kiev KEK.

Russia will win, Ukraine will lose, simple as. The only difference is how much money germanic countries are willing to spend to destroy Ukraine. The more they spend to prolong the war, the more devastating the end result will be for Ukraine. But it’s only subhuman Slavs that are dying, so it’s a win-win for the germans right? Fuck you
