value is meaningless except for a few cases, when something is being exchanged for something, or when something is being assessed for taxation. Which arguable property tax shouldn't exist, only when something is sold should it be taxed, infinite growth is like a cancer, it grows and grows until it kills the host, or in this case the economy collapses due too much fiat real and imaginary has been created through debt and interest.

The alternative to owning a house is renting. i did that for many years till i finally scraped the money together to buy my own. I now own my own house, with no mortgage. Feels good man. Winter is here. Getting ready to shovel all that snow in my front yard. Should start in about 2 to 4 weeks.
