The raison d etre of those elected npcs in the background is that anyone can run for office and they won because they are the best and most popular. This logically demands that if a black person is better and more popular than them they must yield the chair. The right of blood inheritance is a monarchical concept, as a father passes the chair to his son so too does the people pass their country to their descendants. In democracy we cannot make the argument that we deserve this country because our ancestors had it, since our entire system is built around upturning the established order of things.
