The #1 best thing that South Asians can do to reduce the hate against them is to cut out whatever those spices are in their cuisine which makes them absolutely reek. It's unbearable. When they workout on machines 3 machines away from me in the gym I can STILL smell them. I'll never forget walking into an H Mart like 15 seconds behind a South Asian couple. Even though I had just got out of my car and was walking towards the entrance as they were just entering, I could STILL smell them by the time I got to the entrance, even through I was still outside before I even entered the automatic doors! That fucking smell LINGERS and is PUNGENT. I don't care if they like the taste of those spices or they supposedly have health benefits or it brings them comfort because they grew up on them. I would never subject people around me to that level of BO. It would be like using durian as soap in the shower and as a laundry detergent. You'd have to intentionally get off on offending others to do something like that.
