I think this is one of the only case in history where a group of nations has a major advantage when it comes to dealing with a country like Russia, yet, for some reason, they're self-sabotaging in Russia's favor. Ukraine is looking like another quagmire that is never gonna end. Zelensky reasonable wants all of Ukraine's land back, but it doesn't seem like that aspiration is possible. Zelensky said he'd accept an end to the war if they're allowed into NATO, but the problem is that Putin would never end the war on those terms. Putin's doing all this work to make it seem like they want to end the war and Ukraine is being unreasonable and that's what Trump wants to hear so he's getting mad at Zelensky. He also isn't a big fan of them blowing up the refineries because it makes gas prices even worse and means he'll probably lose in the midterms.
