Has anybody noticed that none of the Western "First-World" governments represent their people?
Nobody wants immigration.
Nobody wants open borders.
Nobody wants DEI.
Nobody wants electric cars.
Nobody wants property tax.
Nobody wants all the shit they put in our food.
Nobody wants the drinking age at such a ridiculously high age.

Nobody asked the people if they wanted any of these things, they just do it. And nobody likes it. And nobody can do anything about it, because voting does not change anything. Every politician lies, and we accept that. We know they lie, they know we know they are lying, but we vote anyway. And they do what they want. And then we pretend if we had only voted for the "other side" things would be different.
We tell ourselves, and we tell others, that we live in a democracy, but nothing about it is democratic. We do not have representation.

So why do we pay taxes? Why do we vote? Do we expect anything to change if we do nothing? Or do we just accept the fact that nothing will change, and escape reality with prescription and illegal drugs, because we do not have the time and energy to change things. We have to go to work. We have to make dinner. We have to do dishes. We have to go to bed.

>So why do we pay taxes? Why do we vote?
You’re assuming anyone on 4chan makes enough every year to even file taxes, kek. This site is the closest you’re gonna get to people psychologically boycotting the system. Voting exists exactly for the reasons you described, to make people feel like they have a choice in a world where they irrefutably don’t. So they can continue living the hollow American dream they grew up hearing from their parents and their parents before in exchange for the very small return of not becoming schizophrenic or a social outcast.

We have to make the government more decentralized. That's it. The people in government are out of touch with the people.

Why do you have a faggot flag? Why can't you use your geographic location flag? What are you trying to hide?

Isn't this what the Civil War was about, states rights?

>Isn't this what the Civil War was about, states rights?
Yes, And the bad guys won

In "democracy", the cattle are given a choice of tyrant to placate them. We live in the most extreme form of tyranny ever, the government steals over half our income, tries to track our every move, the list of laws grows ever longer day by day
>>
>>544593043
That's why I'm voting for Jon Ossoff in 2028
>>
>>544593295
How the fuck is making the government "more decentralized" going to stop lobbyists from legally bribing politicians, and jews from hosting all-you-can-rape parties on pedo islands?
>>
>>544593043
They represent capital and that's it
>>
>>544594890
Another example of blaming the consequences of capitalism on democracy

Voting has a much greater impact when government is decentralized. Lobbying is easier under a centralized government, but much harder when power is decentralized. Nobody wants to be ruled by a bunch of bureaucrats sitting thousands of miles away from the people they govern.

I observed a thread on reddit the other day where a user asked a very simple question about why there isn't more options to vote directly in issues that matters now that we have secure ID apps on the phone and whatnot where the chronically-online forum-browsing complete loser faggots replied about how "AI and Putin" would manipulate the results. One also feared that some "conspiracy nut" could vote using their grandmothers ID which I find hilarious because it implies that "grandma's vote" somehow would skew the results, leading to less communism and gay sex.
So that is why we need "representative democracy".
>>
>>544593428
Why won't you let me talk shit about your country instead of addressing the arguments?
>>
>>544593235
Youre fucking stupid.
I paid 2x more in taxes than you make working in the chair force af eglin you gay goybot.
>>
>>544593295
Well yes. Congress should be forced to work remotely from their district/state. There is no need for them to all be in DC all year long.
>>
They are all owned by jews-epstein

Unironically a secret jewish cabal operating all (((western governments)))
>>
>>544593428
Thats a jew.

>putting electric cars on the same level as infinimmigrants
What if I want my 35K BYD supercar and want all immigrants to be deported to the bottom of the sea?
>>
>>544593043
Youre wrong. White women do want all those things, and white women vote exactly for all those things.
>>
>>544595685
And how did these conversations make you feel about your fellow citizens?
>>
>>544595776
Uh huh.
>>
>>544593043
i want electric cars and property taxes lol
i think property tax should be dirt low on single ownership and exponentially more severe with each additional property
