>Polling guru Nate Silver has upgraded Democrats’ chances of winning control of the U.S. Senate in November’s midterm elections, with his forecast now giving the party a 75 percent probability of victory.

>Silver’s FLIPR 2026 midterm election forecast, published by Silver Bulletin, previously classified Democrats’ chances as “Lean D” as their prospects of retaking the chamber improved. The forecast has now moved into the “Likely D” category, marking a further shift in the model’s outlook.

>Since 1934 the presidents political party has lost on average 27 house seats and 3.5 senate seats PER MIDTERM.
>Currently Republicans are slated to lose 9 to 21 House seats and 2 to 6 Senate seats.
We are on par for a normal transition. There will be no blue tsunami or blue wave. It is business as usual in Washington

I don't disagree with you. Second term midterms are usually brutal, just like at Bush's GOP in 2006 or Obama's Dems in 2014. But a lot of people here are retarded Zoomers who were in elementary school in 2014.
