Humanity is a momentary peace for life in the universe. Most life on the planet just suffers without meaning, but it seems humans are set to suffer the least, especially in first world countries. If it were true that our death isn't the end, and our essence is returned to the Earth to be used, then it means our "next" (not in a spiritual sense, but materialistic) life is to be born to suffer again, and again, and again. This means being born human is probably the best outcome, your chances of suffering are significantly lower than that of a prey animal, or even an apex predator, or perhaps a parasite like in vidrel. I am not a smart guy, and I am not articulating this well enough, but perhaps some of you know what I mean. That's why I won't off myself, because chances are I'll be reborn as a jeet or animal to suffer to a greater extent. I appreciate what I already have.

Also that if you do indeed have a modicum of goodness in your life, you should still hold onto life as much as you can before your essence returns to perpetual suffering in the state of an animal.
