They will. The long peace is over. US is Kremlin-ran, and Europe is unarmed and on its own.

Judging by how things are going in Europe, Russian rule would be better. Hitler would have been better too.

Judging by how things are going in Europe, why would Russia even want any of it? I doubt they could make it work for them. It's A LOT of trouble trying to rule a population that does not want it. They tried to do it at the times of the USSR and it nearly destroyed them.
The Donbas has minerals. And there's very good arable land many places in Ukraine too. But the further west they go, the more hostile the local population will be and the more difficult the long-term glowie cold war with the west will be.
It's hard to imagine that they could take all of Ukraine. It seems unlikely that they will take Odessa or reach the Dnieper right now I think. They're still hoping that the whole thing will become unsustainable for the west and that there will be negotiations that let them keep the minerals and "neutralizes" Ukraine I think.
Why would they invade Europe. What would there be for them over there? Makes no sense to me. Even if Russia COULD do it, they wouldn't be worth invading. They have no resources, they're bankrupt and they can't manage their demographics.
