I don't know if he was lost, but I've examined it and, in general it doesn't have any continuity with other churches.The fact is, a literal interpretation can lead you to any conclusion, because you can place more or less emphasis on certain verses.True interpretation of the Bible is the following:>It's literally the eternal Word of God>Only God is goodand if you're genuinely seeking Christ you will go as far as needed in your interpretation and no further.You can find examples before Darby of people who interpreted the Bible like him and Scofield, but they are fleeting and incohesive.

>>544628526Keep in mind too guys, Dispensationalism isn't necessarily a conspiracy interpretation to fund Israel, but it was kind of used that way, in some of Scofield's notes he emphasizes God's covenant with them being carried through to this day. and of course he interpreted a future literal tribulation with a remnant of Jews getting saved during that.I definitely believe that Christ fulfilled what was started under the giving of the law for His peculiar people, and that spiritual Israel is in the church for both Jews and Gentiles, while the physical seed of Abraham will perpetually have a small number who repent and believe in Christ; they live the most selfless lives under their system, so it's most difficult for them to believe in Christ, while someone who has lived a rough and tumble life will find it easier to genuinely repent and believe in Christ.
