Claude is good for vibe coding. I've been designing a game with it for a week or so. Got 6 levels done. I'm a free user that just waits the 5 hour cool time to have it keep coding and developing. I ain't paying $20/mo when I can get it done for free so long as I don't care how long it takes.
>>
>>544630999
So if you're a free user and you're not using an actual harness that you have installed to your PC, you aren't really experiencing this for what it can do at all. Like not even remotely.

If someone asks what a harness is or pretends not to know, big ass truth nuke, new york city, all I have to say.

It can’t even generate emails without fucking something up.
AI transcription is also terrible, but it’s better than nothing for most companies.
That’s where AI is useful right now. It’s basically free (subsidized) and it lets you do things you otherwise wouldn’t have time/money for.

>>544631881
Some people are using extensive subagent workflows to basically recreate a whole office worth of useless shitters constantly having meetings with each other. They swear by this.

A few subagents some of the time is fine and reasonable practice, but some people really go overboard and they burn massive amounts of tokens in all those simulated office meetings.
>>
>>544631881
I think normies confuse 8 dashboards and 100 reviewsand 60 subagents with good usage. The smarter someone is the less tokens they take to create complex stuff because they're focused and doing step-by-step. It's gotta be something with the autistic thinking pattern that causes this because normies cannot help themselves but overload AI.

nothing to be excited about. they have 1-2 websites with around 10-30 daily visitors or so but for them its amazing because they never touched code before. (and they dont have any other hobbies either)

one guy let claude code his own trading software with some silly a.i. chart analysis (no it doesnt generate free money in case you are wondering)

on top of that they generated multiple slopware games. they arent fun to play but nice proofs of concepts. the general consensus is that 1. claude mogs every other model to shit and 2. if you want to you can easily polish everything a.i. generated, most people just dont bother. they expect to get perfection from imperfect prompts and this obviously doesnt work

these are amateurs they never made anything before that so i hope you didnt expect too much.

>>544632231
also what this guy is saying, theyre amateurs, they will say shit like "oh i need highest level effort, latest model, everything on max" only to create something completely irrelevant
>>
>>544632211
Gemini is best all-around model. I use it to bounce ideas off of and do small groundwork for larger projects. Easy but not the smartest, which is fine. It does prompt gen really well and is dialed in to naturalistic reasoning of language usage. More a language model than a coding agent, but it's a bridge to help navigate and steer other more specialized AIs.

A lot of people don't know how to prompt properly.

Big things;
1) Do not use ponytail, it is garbage
2) Read the documentation (https://services.google.com/fh/files/misc/gemini_for_workspace_prompt_guide_october_2024_digital_final.pdf)

Power users treat prompting like a religion.

This is where most people fail to bridge the gap: AI is not magic, it's a great tool that's only as good as its user. Most casual users don't have the ideas, knowledge, or talent to utilize and leverage AI because it requires time and patience and focus and knowledge. Ask an AI to make a program for some purpose it will shit something out that barely works and kind of sucks but most people would say enh that's good enough and not have the knowledge or ability to be the working active scaffolding to developing a more complex idea to fruition with AI.
>>
>>544632487
I just simply will not have any kind of google account.
>offend Gemini by not hiding your power level well enough
>get banned from email
Google the worst for this, unappealable blanket bans across every service at once. Gives me good peace of mind to never do any business with them in the first place, I've got nothing they can ban.
>>
>>544632496
>Power users treat prompting like a religion.
because its true, last week i tried editing an image just with text and this actually works now. it took me several hours but i got a result that money simply could not have bought me in the past, its beyond what artistfaggots could make for me

for some reason gemini has a lot of image generation tokens but not a lot of text tokens. i managed to run into the 5 hour limit twice last week just from planning a very small DIY project and one networking project
>>
>>544629938
>literally
Are AIs just supposed to work with each other now? They haven't played this yet.
>>
>>544632767
Enh. Google is a universal handshake account. If you're gonna play the game you gotta play the game. Also, who cares? I'm not Ted Kazinski, I'm just some dude making shit with AI or whatever.

>>544632809

>>
>>544632496
I really hate that effective prompting requires writing in the gay arse user story format
>>

If you cannot roleplay you cannot prompt (effectively)

That's a better model for everything unless you want a FREE model, specifically, AND your usage is pretty light. You use it because it's google and its convenient, not because it's a good model.

It may fit your usecase, but it's not a good model.
>>
>>544629938

Nobody is buying this fearmongering, kike.

The bubble is about to burst.
>>
There is an enormous, gargantuan skill gap because the system will not refuse your prompt, it'll take your prompt no matter how low effort it is so it incentivizes your prompting style to remain the same

The elite prompters know that fucking Google PDF like they know their gmail password

what happens when everyone pivots to plumbing and there's gonna be 50 million plumbers per country

It can but it won't. The HR and personel manager lady will never hire anyone who knows how to automate tasks. They will also never forward such emails to anyone and delete it.

>i know normies with 3 or 4 claude subscriptions at 200 dollar per month each

You know OpenAI/Anthropic are spending $3 to make $1, right? They've heavily subsidized true costs.

"Microsoft has scaled back its internal usage and projected spending on Anthropic’s Claude models by over a third to rein in operating costs.

>Metric / Aspect Details
>Internal Spending Cut Slashed by over one-third from an initial $1 billion projection
>Usage Cap Reduction Monthly AI usage caps for internal divisions lowered from $100,000 to $10,000"

Meta scaled back too:
