20 years from now people are still going to be asking "Where's my flying car?"
They are a huge safety and security risk. Only the super rich will be allowed to have them.
>>544635246They're also, yknow, nothing new and already exist. We already have flying vehicles, they're just loud, expensive, and not super inconvenient. And that's exactly what he showed off.
>>544635021Anyone who saw the roadster demonstration and thought that it would ever be a real product should be forced into a retard asylum so they can be monitored by handlers 24/7 who prevent them from accidentally hurting themselves and others around them. You'd have to have been dropped on your head as a baby to think that was anything other than outright retarded.
>>544635021>Nooo the rocket car is not cool>Stop believing the future can have better thingsDid everyone in the USSR have a MiG-25, comrade? The fact of the matter is that a car which can suck itself to the road well enough to drive upside down and can also perform aerial stunts in a limited fashion is a pretty fucking cool thing and a hell of a set of engineering achievements in one vehicle.>But you won't drive one, it isn't street legal, it doesn't do anything useful, etcThere are quite a few potential uses of the technology as it pertains to a range of things, but not specifically a consumer driving application.Personally, I'd rather have a yacht with a suite of machine shops, a foundry, and a greenhouse aboard, able to run on solar power - if I were one of the people who could afford such novel things. But I can guarantee you that the local dirt track racing crowd would love to see one of these things do a lap and a flip to kick the races off. Novelty has its appeal and value. What we are seeing broadly, though, is a return to great feats. The F-14 is being restored to flight status. The SR-71 is, as well, both for demonstration and research purposes - we are going back to the aerospace platforms. We are building moon bases and returning to it.The past had many great things and was comfy. The boomers let it all devolve into hedonism and nihilism, and we have to return to building a better world for our children and the great things which come with it.>>544635472Midwits are violent and genuinely believe their basic insights into matters are the peak of rational insight.>It will never be a real productNever is a very long time. Long enough that rocks came alive and started having this conversation, or some divine force spontaneously changed that, depending on who you want to believe.
>>544636634What rocket car? It was an empty shell with air tanks attached so it could move. Not even any seats.
>>544636896>No exhaust >No driveshaft What a scam
>>544635021Hopefully we won't because we stopped babysitting retards and giving money to jews.
>>544636896This is being willfully obtuse. What is a car in the first place other than an empty shell? Oh, sure, it has a motor and fuel tank - or batteries in this case, but a car is mostly a frame with a shell around it. This thing also has a suction fan system and seating for one. If you care to do the math, a minivan or SUV is far more practical with the technology, as the volume for the tanks comes at far leess proportional weight penalty and you could still potentially fit some cargo or other people. The fact they fit it into such a small package is quite the feat and it would be trivial to make it larger, because cars are mostly air.>But such a thing would never be affordable or useful.Well, not really going to argue against that, other than the military could certainly come up with some uses for a vehicle which could literally hop over ravines or use such a technology in an evasive maneuver. Granted, a helicopter would probably be better overall, but this could also be useful to aircraft, particularly when stovl is highly valued.
>>544637974>This is being willfully obtuse. It's relaying fact.
>>544638195No, you are a liar and you know you are lying.
>>544635021Many years from now, while suffering from dementia, you're going to wake up and ask, "Where's my penis?"
>>544638628That would be calling an empty shell a car.
>>544638706Not in Elon's mouth.
>>544635021>20 years from nowWTF are you talking about?!?The insider elites have been hinting at flying cars ever since we recovered "flying car" technology from the UFO crash in Roswell. The technology exists, and is cheap enough to mass produce, but would be much too dangerous for the public to get their hands on it. Flying cars were too dangerous for public usage 70 years ago, and not much has changed then that would make it less dangerous. We're never getting flying cars. Deal with it.
20 years from now, the whole world will be living in the stone age again thanks to niggers and sandrats setting us back 1000 years.
>>544639724Have you tried slamming your head against your keyboard harder?
>>544636634>There are quite a few potential uses of the technology as it pertains to a range of thingsYeah and they were all figured out when it was invented 70 years ago you absolute fucking chimpanzee
>>544636634Oh and>midwitsLMFAO

>>544635021>getting 500k unsecured loans from retards because you put thrusters on a car for some reason
>>544639955Have you seen France lately? Have you seen South Africa? That's the way every Western nation is heading. How can we have anything nice when 70IQ shitskins just instantly destroy it? They will be reserved for the elite only. Maybe the chinks will have knockoff versions too.
