I'm an organizer for Democrat fundraising in the midterms. A lot of right-wingers mis-characterize us. They call us a bunch of woke blue haired transgender freaks who only care about bullshit. This couldn't be further from the truth. Many of us are Trump supporters or former Trump supporters. We love the MAGA agenda, we just think Trump is incorrect on a few key issues and we want to correct him on it, and the only way to do that is taking control of Congress. Lets look at some facts.>Economy and Iran warWe want to resurrect the Obama era status quo when dealing with Iran. Diplomacy over unneeded militaristic aggression. the JCPOA worked. U.N inspectors ensured Iran remained denuclearized while not pissing off Iran enough to block the Straight and engage in a proxy war with the West via the Houthis. Trump's war for Israel has compromised not only the global economy but U.S National Security. We oughta make peace with Iran, or at least return to Modus Vivendi.
>Tax the RichMany of us are huge fans of Supply Side Economics (Trickle Down), but we acknolwedge a tax cut only boosts the economy if and only if it is paired with spending cuts. Trump's tax cuts have been tailored to the wealthy, to the corporations, to the same establishment entities that tried to shaft him in the past. It is a great betrayal to prioritize their economic interest over the working people. If you really are a nationalist, the tax cut should have been directed to families with kids, encouraging stronger domestic natalism rather than economic looting of the largest players. The irony is that because spending wasn't cut, taxation was substitued with BORROWING, so the same amount of capital is siphoned out of the economy in the form of bond issuances that the U.S tax payer is now paying interest on. Bond yields skyrocketing is a reflection of both the market's skepticism of American Federal solvency AND Trump's willingness to ursup Fed independence. Fiscal Dominance is turning our central bank into a money printing machine for irresponsible fiscal policy.
