>>544644579I also found the specific festival. This is not Jagannath Ratha Yatra, the pan-Hindu festival, it's Ther Thiruvizha, the Tamil South Indian Chariot festival. They are both often generically called 'Chariot Festival'. The god in the chariot isn't Jagannath but the usual Shiva or Vishnu. They do get naked but I still cant find any rolling on the floor for this festival in India. This festival also does not appear to have a wiki page so it's all word of mouth, apparently it isn't even a set date on the Hindu calendar like Ratha Yatra but organised by each individual Tamil Hindu temple around the world. Presumably the ones in London require rolling in the middle of the road.
