When you group them up like that an aged neoliberal democrat preferring a Mitt Romney type neoliberal republican to come along and win instead of a brown socialist El-Sayed or populist nationalist Trump it makes a lot more sense. Especially since on some issues the Nationalists and the Socialists have more in common with each other than the neoliberals. An American election with a ranked ballot voting system would be incredibly interesting.
