the issue with the right in the west is the conventional right. the ones who are more or less interested in preserving the status quo even when it no longer becomes possible. it's part of the reason why the right wing parties increase immigration. they know in 99% of cases the base won't do anything and in the 1% chance where something like unite the right happens, the conventional right starts disavowing such acts. just look at how quickly people like lindsey graham disavowed january 6th early on before he came crawling back to continue influencing trump.the problem has always been this conventional boomer right who have no desire to change anything. as long as these people are in charge america will always be an economic liberal country and our solution to all economic ills will be more immigration.
